PremierOne Credit Union

To begin this I would just like to point out that I have been with this bank for about 8 months now and they been super helpful. I was referred by my brother and to ask for Daniel Valentin the Branch manager. Daniel Valentin has helped me out so much with car loans and take out my first Credit Card at 20 years old. I've seen my credit grow and every time I go I'm welcomed by the staff. I would also love to say an employee named Dora is very helpful and helped me get another loan recently. She made calls and got me approved to a bigger loan and get my dream vehicle. I've been helped

Website and online services are 20 years out of date. No 24hr help nor online chat help for minor issues. Staff is condescending and unhelpful. Absolutely worst experience ever.
I rather a proper back charge me for everything rather than deal with a backward institution like this

Denise was so pleasant and super informative when I called for information regarding my account! I don't currently reside near any of the branches(+2500 miles!) and she guided me through verification of my account as well as gave me details on how I can set up bank to bank transfers. There's a reason why I've been a member for over 15yrs and it's because of really nice interactions with PremierOne(formerly SJCU) employees!

I mailed in a payment since I will be out of town. I followed up with Premier One after three days because my check did not clear. I was told I will get a call back that day and nobody called me backs I followed ups this morning. The member service representative was rude, you can tell over the phone if someone is being genuinely nice and she was not. I expressed my concerned she mentioned the person who checks the mail does not check it everyday and their is not a set time they check it. So they expect me to or have ran expectation of them opening their mail. This is a bad practice especially

TLDR; Great co-op CU with a nice location, good customer service, proper COVID protocols, and quick and efficient service. Easy to get cashiers checks with a fee of $5/check.

This Credit Union (CU) is conveniently located right next to TJ Maxx/HomeGoods. There is plenty of parking.

Another popular CU nearby closed at 4:00pm on a Thursday afternoon, so I was happy to find that PremierOne was open a little later.

They are following COVID protocols. All staff were wearing masks, there was plexiglass separators at each station, and there were decals on the floor, 6 feet apart.

This credit union has on multiple occasions lied to me and told me that they would get back to me by a certain time, and then stalls me until after they close for the day. Today the branch manager for the Almaden Branch said to me that they would get back to me within 5 minutes, and of course never did call me back. I do not know how they are able to stay in business. I have had 3 loans with this credit union, all paid timely, and they still treat me like dirt.

Months previous, I had taken out a personal loan through Premier One Credit Union.
Was a very easy process. I was approved and funded.
Last week I had a quick conversation with Nick, Banker Loan-Officer at the Almaden Expressway San Jose branch.
I was frustrated that I had been paying $344 a month for my SUV financed through the auto-dealership, for the past 2 years.
Nick said that he could help me to lower my monthly payment, refinancing my auto loan through Premier One.

Premier One Credit Union does not comply with credit card fraud protection law. They do not block compromised credit cards upon fraud report, but instead they threaten to close your credit line completely if you continue with the claim.

Everyone is very helpful here and they have a real good team. Five star place

I am so thankful for PremierOne CU. It was my first time ever taking out a signature loan and they made my process very smooth. Monique advocated for me and made sure I was given the best possible option for my circumstances. I feel at peace knowing I am in good hands.

This location is AMAZING. I had the pleasure of interacting with Daniel on a loan here. He was very kind, professional and dedicated to finding the best option for my situation. To make a long story short he and the branch manager were able to work completely around a loan and find another way to get the money I needed. I was looking to buy a SUV on an end of the Year Sale. I was looking on line and found several vehicles, I was interested in. I walked into My Credit Union (Premier One, Almaden Branch) and was immediately greeted by Branch Manager, Monique Easley. She listened to my needs, explained to me the loans, amounts and answered all of my questions. She even recommended another site to check for a vehicle, which I was able to find the perfect one, at a great price! I've been banking here for 25 years... Back before they merged and used to be called National Semiconductor Credit Union.
We just refinanced our house with PremierOne. It was painless and SHANNON is a fantastic loan officer. She explained everything very well and had excellent communications with us, all through the process.

I've been banking with PremierOne Credit Union for over 4 years, primarily due to the loan I have out on my car.
I try not to make too many visits to the branch due to there being limited locations and YES I am that damn lazy. Luckily for me, my transactions can be done online.

My trip out to a local branch was the best way for me to pay off my loan and close out my account. This particular bank is located in Almaden Plaza, in Building F where TJ Maxx resides.
Parking was absolutely horrendous. Keep in mind that my visit just so happened to be during the lunch rush & because the holiday

Words can't explain how pleased I am with this bank, I've had many banks before and none are as wonderful as PremierOne Credit Union this place is a blessing to my family and myself. Been a member for 20 something years. Horrible service as a bank, when they were San Jose Credit Union there were NO problems, I can't stand Premier One, they're response time is horrible, they have short hours that most banks don't have.
I had to reorder my debit card, 1 month later I still received nothing, after 2 months and going through various departments to get my card, thier VP of member services or something said he wanted to reimburse me a target gift card for 5 dollars!! After me living on my credit card, at least they could have helped me out with that, no, again I can't stand them
