Services
Kids Junction, Inc. privately owns vans to transport children from the elementary schools to our center. Children are always seat belted while riding on the vans. Transportation is provided for the following schools: Nayatt, Primrose Hill, Sowams, St. Luke, Waddington, Hampden Meadows, and 6th grade at the Barrington Middle School.
Our Program is child-centered and based upon the belief that play is the best way for children to learn. Our approach is individualized to meet each child's needs and interests. Each classroom is organized with centers for creative art, literature, pre-writing, science, pre-math, dramatic play and cognitive and small motor development.
Our program compliments the elementary school programs. Our goal is to provide a happy, fun-loving atmosphere for children coming to our Center after school. The environment is planned to stimulate imagination, creativity, socialization, exploration and discovery while challenging the use of muscles important to developing bodies.
Teachers at Kids Junction are sent to the Barrington Schools in the Kids Junction vans to pick up the children and take attendance. The teachers return to Kids Junction in the vans with your children. Note: The best times to pick up children are 4:15 PM (after first activity) or anytime after 5:00 PM (after second activity).
Kid's Club is an extension of Kids Junction, Inc. We realize "older" children have their own special needs as they approach pre-teen stages. Kid's Club will address these interests and needs. Kid's Club children have special field trips that they plan, challenging activities planned for them only, and a Kid's Club special night at Kids Junction.
