Hello, my name is Mary Lou Reynolds; I am the Owner and Director of WonderKids Early Learning Center of RI. I founded WonderKids in 1987 to provide children with a very special, safe, and healthy learning environment. Our goal has always been to give parents comfort in knowing that they have chosen the best possible home-like environment for their child to learn, grow and develop with great success both academically and socially.

We meet your family's unique needs by providing the highest quality childcare, working within your lifestyle. Our building has been designed to provide all of our classrooms with unique and individual characteristics for each of our programs. Every classroom is equipped with the age appropriate elements necessary to successfully reinforce our teachers' skills.
WONDERKIDS was created under the belief that children are the key to a better tomorrow. For this reason we believe that a child's emotional, cognitive and physical development is a complex, delicate and crucial process. It demands the most loving and caring attention, beginning at home and extending to those entrusted with his or her early childhood development.
More than anything else, what defines WonderKids is the success of the students whose parents come back after graduating and share stories of how their child's WonderKids experience gave them the tools they needed to excel. Jake loves being at WonderKids and has made so many friends, and I'm sure those friendships will continue beyond WonderKids.
WONDERKIDS provides quality childcare to families who have children from six weeks to five years of age. Our professional staff has been chosen for each age group. WonderKids incorporates the RIELDS (Rhode Island Early Learning & Development Standards) into each well thought out daily lesson plan which in turn corresponds to the weekly and monthly learning themes.
Our infants have an Individualized Care Plan for every aspect of their day at WonderKids! Their school schedule will coincide with their home schedule and individual needs. At approximately 10 months of age they are able to follow a more structured schedule. From this point forward, we continue to meet their needs, and prepare them for a smooth transition into our Toddler Room at 18 months of age.

My son has been attending Wonderkids Daycare for over a year, and I cannot tell you how much we love it! They are always accommodating to our constant schedule changes, the staff are always pleasant and the facility is very clean. My son really enjoys the extra curricular activities they offer (soccer) and the play area outside is really nice! I would give Marylou and the staff at Wonderkids 20 stars if i could!

When we were looking for schools for my former preschooler we were looking for a welcoming and inviting environment for our son to grow and prepare for kindergarten. After the tour our minds were put ease and we had found the exact right daycare. My son enjoyed his teachers and classmates. He is now in kindergarten and thriving due to growth at Wonderkids!!!! By the time our daughter was born we knew exactly what daycare she would attend when I returned to work. Thank you so much to Mary Lou and her wonderful staff.

My son Loves this place! He even asks to go on the weekends! We have been extremely happy with our experience at WonderKids! The teachers and staff there have a deep compassion and respect for the children. They are always integrating new and fun activities to keep the children having fun and learning. Mary Lou Reynolds, the owner, is extremely reliable and flexible. She has always been very respectful and accommodating of our family's unique characteristics and requests.

Awesome Daycare!
It can be stressful to search and find the right daycare for your child and family. We had looked at a few and they were not the right fit for our two littles. When I visited Wonderkids and met owner Mary Lou over a year ago, I was immediately at ease and knew my kids would be in great hands! Staff/teachers are professional, kind and patient. My kids love going and enjoy activities, crafts and events that Wonderkids offers. Facility is clean, well structured and appropriately organized by age group to suit the needs of kiddos development. I would never hesitate to recommend this

Wonder kids is the best hands down ! Marylou & Cindy make you feel like family, and are always very pleasant. Couldn't give them a higher rating , my daughter loves it here and has learned so much in the time shes been there! Ms.Penn is hands down my favortie teacher this far my daughter has never learned so much and comes home with something new to tell every day. Keep it up guys we love you in our household :)

This daycare is exceptional! The owner Mary Lou and her assistant director Cindy sure do make it feel like family here. I can say that at Wonderkids, it truely is a family here. Even all the girls/women working here are amazing and truely have become our family. We love how it has an indoor and outdoor playground, mini toilets for children and lots of story time, arts and crafts. They even have a healthy meal plan to help children try more foods that are fun and great by a culinary person. I have a daughter that will be five soon who has been going here almost a year and a baby that I was nervous

My daughter was in this daycare for 6 months. At first it seemed good, she was happy and that staff was very good to her. Unfortunately, as others have stated, there was a lot of problem with the staff to infant ratio. The first time it happened I went to drop my child off to daycare and she was the 10th child with one teacher. I refused to leave my child there and was told that one of the staff over slept but the owner never came in to cover; fortunately another teacher was on her way in early for her shift but this ultimately made me late to work. Wonderkids is a place where your child will learn and grow in a safe, nurturing environment. This is a center that your child can explore and be creative through a variety of activities. The staff are professional, responsible and always have a smile on their face. I believe the security here is very good due to the fact that everyone has to be buzzed in at the door. The staff take the time in the day to keep the center clean. Wonderkids is more of a family place than an everyday child care center.

I love WonderKids so much, my step-mother has worked there for 19 years and I can go in with her and volunteer with her on special events during the summer,the children are so cute and fun to play with. The owner Marylou is so nice to me,I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a fun safe and loving place to take care of your children, all the staff is so friendly and they take great care of all the children.

My grandson loved going to Wonderkids. The staff are friendly and caring and they always have plenty of activities to keep the children happy. Between the arts and crafts and many other indoor activities Wonderkids also provided a safe and fun outdoor environment for children to play.There are plenty of toys and learning tools available to children of a variety of ages.The Staff kept me informed of my grandson's daily progress and any changes I needed to be aware of. You could see that his teachers really cared about him and he enjoyed being there too! The facility itself is very safe, with 2 sets
