With rapid and continued growth, EBPA began expanding its product lines to a suite of reimbursement accounts and business solutions including; COBRA, Retiree Billing, Flexible Spending Accounts, HRAs, Parking/Transit, and Tuition and by 1988 EBPA was a full-service TPA for ancillary and reimbursement accounts.

Through the years, EBPA has maintained an excellent reputation in the marketplace and is known for its unparalleled dedication to customer service. As a one stop shop TPA, EBPA is more than an administrator, but a one roof benefit solution for all your healthcare and benefit needs.
Services
EBPA's wide array of product offerings is constantly evolving to keep pace with the changing benefits landscape.

With administrative services ranging from Self-funded Medical Plans to a variety of Reimbursement Programs such as Flexible Spending Accounts and Parking/Transit Accounts, as well as COBRA and Billing/Premium Collection Services, EBPA strives toprovide each client with a uniquely designed solution that complements their benefits philosophy and financial goals.
There are several reasons why employers choose the self-insurance or self-funded option with EBPA. From flexibility and personalization, to significant savings, self-funded health plans offer a wide variety of benefits for you and your members. Design a plan to meet specific health care needs of your member population, rather than purchasing a "general, all purpose" insurance policy.
With a Health Care FSA, employees canset aside pre-tax dollars out of their paycheck to pay for eligible out-of-pocket medical, dental, vision care and certain over-the-counter health care expenses not otherwise covered by your health insurance. Funds are moved to their Flexible Spending Account before Federal income taxes; Social Security taxes and most state taxes are deducted.
EBPA's Parking and Transit Benefits are a great way to help your employees save money while commuting to work. If your employees take public transportation to work or pay for parking, EBPA can help you save them money by paying Parking and Transit expenses with pre-tax dollars. There are two types of pre-tax expense accounts: Mass Transit Expense Accounts and Parking Expense Accounts.
EBPA's innovative on demand service, combines real-time full featured COBRA administration and web-based services. We provide COBRA expertise, tracking, record keeping and reporting of all COBRA activities. Notification distribution, forms processing and data tracking, including COBRA termination notices, election packages and other forms of correspondence.

Extremely poor customer service. Will not acknowledge their own mistakes. While the IRS has specific laws that make us all jump through silly loopholes, these folks do not communicate clearly, their website often does not work, and when they make errors as a provider they take zero responsibility. Would NOT recommend. I am considering NOT using the program and paying more taxes so as not to deal with them in the future.

Should look into a class action lawsuit on the grounds they hold employees flex spending money for literally years until they let you know they are still holding it and then take over 4 months to cut the check and send to you. Who gets all the interest on your money, well it sure isn't you. I know because they pulled this on me and I'm sure I'm not the only one out there. What agency regulates EBPA?

Extremely poor customer service. Is a provider for my employer. They are very dismissive and are looking for you to not get your money. They are almost impossible to get a hold of and you can expect very little help. I used them for my daughters braces and they put a block on the rest of my balance because they said the IRS wants to make sure it was not for cosmetic reasons. I will need to wait for 72 hours to get it off after I provide a mailed copy of the receipt of payment. They said I did not update my information to my new mailing address and they had mailed me a request. AVOID

Has EXTREMELY poor service. Does not hold up to its contractual duties and uses excuses for ill advised employees. I do not recommend them or their services for your company's employees.

Very frustrating to deal with if you need assistance. It's difficult to contact anyone by phone, and I can't even access my account on their website to find out my balance before submitting a claim.
