It has been a pleasure to work with Capt. Brett McGhee to arrange the ocean scattering of the ashes of our uncle and our mother. In the midst of this difficult time, the process was easy and the scattering carried out with respect. We really appreciate the photos and photo certificate provided as well. The charges for the services are quite reasonable as well, which was appreciated. I very highly recommend Ocean Ashes.

The ocean scattering of my late husband was beautiful. The rose petals, water soluble note paper and beautiful prayer you provided were very thoughtful and comforting. It was beautiful and a day I will cherish the rest of my life. Thank you for making it so special. I highly recommend Ocean Ashes Scattering Services. I was treated with respect and dignity and also felt as ease. Captain Brett & Dawn went above and beyond to make sure it was special. Photos were provided as well. Captain Brett and wife Dawn were both very nice, extremely professional, and highly compassionate for our sister's send off. We had a perfect weather day, and Brett and Dawn made the trip even more pleasant. Kind words, and good conversation the whole trip. Captain Brian was wonderful. He talked us through everything and helped make our experience so special. We scattered our Dad's ashes right into the gulf stream and witnessed Dad taking his final dive in the blue waters he so loved. It was such a touching experience. Communication was great with Captains Brett and Brian. I recommend Ocean Ashes to everyone. Dad would be pleased with our decision. Thank you so much.

Thank God I found this alternative to spread my husband's ashes. Captain Brett and his wife were very kind and sensitive to the grieving process and patiently gave us all the instructions. They heard stories about my husband and made us feel understood. I didn't know what to expect but it was very nice, and it gives a feeling of peace to know that my husband's remains have become part of nature. It is an experience that helps to close a chapter and move on. Ocean Ashes is a beautiful alternative and Captain Brett and his wife were very attentive and sensitive to the situation. My husband passed away unexpectedly July 2019. We lived in NC but he loved the ocean and The Keys were his favorite place ever. I got the opportunity to spend this July in Key Largo and I brought his urn with his ashes with me. The plan was to go to a beach and spread his ashes myself.
THEN I FOUND OCEAN ASHES.
It was such a smooth process from calling with questions, to booking, and finally getting out to release my husband's ashes. Captain Brett was great to work with and Captain Xavier (who took me out on day of) was amazing.
