The idea behind Florida Family Cremations came from two longtime friends who both believe there is a better way to serve the needs that occur when a loved one passes. We are a Veteran owned business that strives to serve the Clearwater community with dignity and respect. When a loved one passes away, the depth of emotion that runs through the deceased's family and friends can be overwhelming. The last thing someone needs is to handle all the details by themselves. Immediate cremation services can be complicated, especially when dealing with the loss of a family member or close friend.

After 2 discouraging calls to other companies, that were almost bordering on the verge of rudeness, what a pleasant experience by calling Florida Family Cremations. Trey when answering the phone made me feel so comfortable, Haley was so helpful with all the administrative details, and David tied it all together when I went in to talk in person. What a wonderful experience, which I never expected after my first 2 calls to other companies. I would highly recommend their services. A great company and super compassionate employees.

However, understand that in your moment of anger, frustration and despair, please know that even if you may have missed those last moments with your loved one for whatever reason that may have been out of your control, please understand that Florida Family Cremations are unable to see you with your loved one until the following Monday. It’s not their fault.

My father recently passed. David and his team were wonderful...Dad was a veteran, as are 2 of us daughters (and our husbands). When they came to transfer Dad's body to the cremation site, they draped the stretcher with the American flag as they transported him through the nursing home facility. That gesture meant the world to us..as did the very respectful way that the team interacted with us from beginning to end. I cannot recommend this business enough when you need their services. They helped the entire family be at peace with the loss of our dad.

David and Laura were extremely helpful and professional during this extremely hard time. They handled all the paperwork for social security and the VA. We recieved my uncles remains and death certificate in a very timely manor. We recieved a 10% veterans discount along with a properly folded Flag.

Florida Family Cremations was beyond excellent to work with. I live in Indiana and my sister lived in Florida. When I made my call to get their pricing they emailed me all the paperwork and also talked to me by phone. Answered all my questions either by phone or email. Great service. If I am ever in Florida I will certainly stop by and tell them in person.
