Dr. Nguyen graduated with both a bachelor's degree in general chemistry & a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific. She also completed two years of advanced education in general dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco.

Services
In 2009, I began my volunteer work organized by the Remote Area Medical or RAM, which provides free dental, medical, and vision care to homeless and low-income individuals in Sacramento and Oakland. I restored teeth for people who'd not been able to afford dentistry for more than 20 years.
After seeing patients waiting in lines for more than 24 hours to get help with their broken, decayed, and infected teeth, I can't stop coming back to volunteer for similar organizations since then.Every two or three months, I spend 20 or more hours donating my dental expertise at free care events such as California Dental Association-CDA Cares, the Sonrisas Community Dental Center in Half Moon Bay, and California CareForce.

Normally, the process for getting a Dental Implant can last anywhere between four to 12 months and requires surgical procedures. In the initial surgical appointment, a tooth root implant made of titanium is gently placed into the bone socket of the missing tooth. The procedure can be done using either local anesthesia or general anesthesia for patients who are anxious.

Dr. ChauLong Nguyen and her team see patients as individuals, each with unique oral health needs and goals in seeking treatment. We provide friendly, comprehensive general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry for people of all ages; at our dental practice.
Every "One Day Teeth" procedure starts with your free consultation at ImplantForMe. During this consultation, Dr. Nguyen will develop with you a special treatment plan and will inform you exactly how much dental implants procedure will cost you without any hidden fees. When you reach the decision to move forward with your implants procedure, Dr. Nguyen will complete your treatment plan & prepare your procedure.
Your regular exam will take about 45 minutes. Each regular exam includes a detailed teeth cleaning, in which we will clean, polish, and rinse your teeth to remove any tartar and plaque that have built up on the tooth's surface. Visiting our office every six months gives you the chance to talk to the doctor about any questions you may have about your oral health.

Dr. Nguyen and her staff Kelly and Helen are a great dental team. The staff always addresses me and all of my family members by our names and are friendly. We are all her patients. Dr. Nguyen is one-of-a-kind. Out of the 30 years of going to dentists, she is the only one that I will miss (we are moving out-of-state) because she is so genuine, kind, and has such an endearing personality. I don't have to worry about ever getting a second review because she is honest and extremely knowledgeable. I have never gotten charged for unnecessary procedures and she even gives me tips that work to prevent

I love Dr Nguyen she is all about her patients ! Anytime i have an appointment she gets the job done and i have no complaints !! She has by far been the best dentist I've ever been to and now my forever dentist , this was my second visit of having major work done, The first time she did my top front teeth which look amazing and was done almost two years ago. I have been going to Dr. Nguyen for 18 years. My teeth continue to get better and better. She is extremely professional, going to conferences and staying on top of her profession. Dr. Nguyen is the best Dentist that I have ever experienced! She takes pride in her work and is smart, gentle, kind, thorough, and honest. Dr. Nguyen consistently goes out of her way to explain things to me and make sure that I am comfortable (before, during and after any procedures). She has even gone above and beyond on a weekend - helping me to avoid what could have turned into the need for a root canal therapy. Dr Nguyen and her staff me me feel at home, I was a little scare at first, but from start to finish I was very happy. Their work there is very remarkable. Dr. Nguyen is a friendly and knowledgeable, I have been visiting her for 3 years. She has spotted details in my X-ray that my previous dentist did not have insight into because of the fidelity equipment she uses. She has also been open and encouraging to second opinions over different diagnoses and treatments from my previous dentist and other specialists.
I have had several procedures with Dr. Nguyen from regular teeth cleaning to other special procedures. She has always made sure I am feeling comfortable and makes sure to let her know if I feel discomfort.

Visited Dr Nguyen today for my first time and she's amazing. She walked through everything she was doing as she did it, which I appreciated. And on top of being very professional and knowledgeable, she made the visit more relaxing than I had thought possible of a trip to the dentist. Would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.

Back when I was a Case Manager working with the homeless, Dr. Nguyen saw an article in the newspaper which mentioned one of my clients -- a Vietnam-era Marine Corp Vet -- couldn't get help from the VA for his bad teeth. She contacted the journalist and offered to fix his teeth for Free! She followed through, too, even though he was cranky, difficult to work with, and some would even find him scary. That beautiful set of teeth helped him get his first job in 27 years!

Was in town visiting family and had a god awful tooth ache which turned out to be a cavity. Called around to a couple of places and finally came across Menlo Park Dental. They were able to schedule me right away for an exam.
First, let me say, thank god for the short wait! My tooth was killing me! At my local dentist I usually wait at least 30 minutes. I got to Menlo Park and was taken right away.
