We are located on Pushaw Lake in Orono, Maine. It is a 9 mile long lake with wonderful swimming and fishing. We have two laundry rooms, two bathroom and shower facilities, as well as a Store, Gift Shop, Moose Cafe' with free WIFI in the Cafe for all our guest to enjoy, recreation hall and Arcade. We rent Canoes and Kayaks for those of you that would like to get out on the lake and enjoy some of the beautiful nature that surrounds us.

Services
We are in the process of updating the front and inside of our hall. We will have a new covered and larger porch out front as well as a new front entrance, handy cap bathroom, larger hall area inside and more. Clean hot showers in two locations for campers convenience. In the front of our campground in the same building as our office, Rec Hall, Laundry, Arcade and WIFI Cafe' and In the back of our Campground near our tent sites and other Rv sites.
A 60 minutes drive to the east is the resort town of Bar Harbor. The streets are lined with quaint shops and cafes. While you're there, visit Acadia National Park, Sand Beach, Ocean Drive and Cadillac Mountain. This area also offers whale watching tours. The Bangor area is just minutes away for shopping, movies, fine dining and cultural amusements.

My first time there there qas a turtle in the road.my boyfriend picked it up and saved it and moved it to the bushes. The woman owner said she got a complaint and accused us more then once saying we kkilled the turtle. The owner stopped by are camp multiple times not giving us very much privacy. Being accused of killing a turtle and being harrasses at your camp is not the camp i want to go back to again. Very upset with my expierence here. Not professional at all.

There were good and bad things about this campground. The location was fantastic. It was surrounded by Pushaw Lake. The bath house, store, and arcade were nice. However... The road entering the campground is in rough shape, the sites were inconstant in size (some too small), and the sites that we were on were not cleaned up after the previous campers. I plan to try this campground again next season.

After reserving our site a month in advance we arrived and we're time that they"moved us" to another spot. We came to Pushaw for an event otherwise we wouldn't have stayed. The campground is crowded, the spots close together, teenagers joyride golf carts all day, and then in the evening two sheriff's officers drive by our site because there are reports of drug users dropping needless and urinating on other people's campers. On the bright side, the event we were there for was great and we got to visit with friends we haven't seen in awhile.

Poorly maintained, facilities rundown most sites have electrical issues. And the road to get in is a nightmare towing a camper down. There’s plenty of better options in the area. For me staying here would be an absolute last resort. Look around for better options. Most of the positive reviews written about this locating are from bogus people and family members of the manager.

This was the first time me my brother and sister had ever been to the area, let alone the campground. Naturally we looked the place up and I gotta say the reviews weren't all great. We went ahead and made the reso. When we showed up, Thursday am, it was very quiet and apparent the place was full of seasonal lots, which is typical of most campgrounds I guess.
