Services
Flatirons Psychiatry was founded with the goal of providing high-quality integrative treatment to help our patients realize the joy of living healthy, centered and balanced lives. We strive to work with you to find the most effective, individualized treatment plan that will allow you to live your best life and be unencumbered by the weight of emotional roadblocks such as depression.
We all go through hard times, and we often feel worried about certain aspects of our lives. In someone with an anxiety disorder, these feelings increase to the point where they interfere with the person's quality of life. Even small triggers can create strong emotions in people with anxiety disorders.
All of us experience sadness from time to time. In depression, an individual experiences depths of sadness and even hopelessness that go far beyond these usual emotions. This mood disorder not only affects feelings, but even a person's personality and actions. Depression is treatable, and people who think they have this disorder should understand they are not alone.
If you don't have any of our in-network insurance plans, we can provide you with a "superbill" which is like a receipt for services. Many insurance plans will reimburse a portion of the bill, which can make your appointment more affordable. It is recommended that you contact your insurance company prior to obtaining services to see if submitting a "superbill" is an option and to answer any other questions you may have.

I had one session with Josh Raufman, in which he prescribed me, a minor, my first ever psychiatric medication which I began taking as prescribed by him. He then ghosted me. My family and I made many attempts to contact him by text, phone call, and email, all of which he ignored, and also didn’t show up to any appointments I made with him. It was completely irresponsible, unprofessional, and dangerous to leave me with a very serious medication without any professional supervision. He absolutely ghosted me, and neglected to communicate to the point in which we googled his obituary as we thought
