Services
Mental Health Partners' story begins in 1962, when it opened as a mental health clinic serving Boulder County residents. In 1964, we received our non-profit status and became a federally designated comprehensive community mental health center in 1971.

Since then, we have expanded to meet the growing needs of our surrounding communities, with multiple locations in Boulder, Broomfield, Longmont and Lafayette; and share locations with primary care physicians in additional communities. It is estimated, that of the 360,000 residents of Boulder and Broomfield counties, more than 60,000 individuals suffer with a form o f mental illness.
The waiting list is only open to applicants who meet DOH's local preference of: families that include a person with a disability. If you or someone in your household is a person with a disability and you require a reasonable accommodation to access the housing program, please contact Desra at 303-247-8779.
We thank you for choosing Mental Health Partners as part of your recovery journey. At MHP, individuals at every level of care benefit from a multi-disciplinary and compassionate care team who provide personalized guidance and support. Thank You for Helping Us Reach Our Goal in the "Be 1 of 4098" suicide prevention campaign. Mental Health Partners charges a small fee per person for each of our trainings available to the community. This fee covers the cost of participant materials and trainer time. Cost should not be a barrier to any community member seeking to learn these valuable skills.
Mental Health Partners is proud to engage, participate and join the larger community advocating for comprehensive mental health and substance use care in our neighborhoods, region and across the nation. MHP Now is a space for us to share this engagement, invite you to join us and contribute to the dynamic dialogue.

Facility was unorganized and was very slow. There was no other clients and it took over 30 minutes for me to get "service". The waiting room was very ugly and unorganized. Teresa seemed and kind and that the only thing I liked about this place. I do not recommend this place.

Have used these services for myself and family and have always had a great experience. Yes appointments may take a few weeks however they serve so many people.

Most despicable doctors office I have ever encountered in my life. After having started a process to get psychiatric and psychologic services at the BEGINNING OF THIS YEAR, I have still not seen a SINGLE mental health professional half a year later. They told me I could not see a psychiatrist until 3 and a half months after scheduling an appointment, and then after waiting that entire time period, LITERALLY THE DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT called and told me that my doctor would not be in the office and I would have to reschedule for AN ENTIRE MONTH LATER to see them for circumstances completely not

Gave me the run around for two weeks. They never answer their phones. Told me it would be two months to see a doctor and then hinted that I shouldn't try, so I didn't. If mental health care is what you are going for. You are failing at every turn.

If you are brought to detox, try to go to jail instead (or act more belligerent) so that you can spend a free night in jail rather than a $300 night in detox. Despite the non-profit guise, MHP is essentially a for-profit entity that goes after insurance money (private or Medicaid) by putting bodies in cells (whether that is helpless intoxicated individuals or homeless adults). A racket if there ever was one.
