Columbia Gorge Bakery started as a passion project of Teresa Langen's; a lifelong baker and food chemist. After going gluten free in 2006, she quickly realized how few quality gluten free baked goods were available in the Columbia River Gorge. Teresa spent the next few years experimenting in her home kitchen and discovered that she truly has the Gluten Free Gift.
Soon she was selling bread and baked goods to local restaurants and coffee shops and quickly became a popular gluten free wholesaler and retailer in the Gorge. Columbia Gorge Bakery officially opened as a retail location in 2016 and opened a drive thru window in 2017.

This is an excellent Gluten Free Bakery, and I'm so thankful for it! Terrific pastry, both sweet and savory (their hand pies are to die for!), donuts, cupcakes, dinner rolls, quiche and bread on certain days.
They don't mind you calling ahead for special orders. Give them a try, even if you're not Gluten Free; you won't be disappointed!

This is a great place to grab something sweet. We have not tried any of their savory offerings yet but I am sure they are fantastic based on the treats we have tried. In particular, the donuts are wonderful because they are baked and not deep fried in oil. Our new favorite is the chocolate donut, which was soft, flavorful, rich and overall decadent. Every time we have visited the service has been also quite friendly.
