Dr. Hilado graduated from Centro Escolar University - College of Dentistry, Manila, Philippines in 2000, with a General Dentist, D.D.S. degree. She has 17 years of General Dentistry experience including all surgical procedures, complicated root-canals and cosmetic dentistry. She specializes in the safe removal of mercury amalgam restorations.
Grace, front desk is always perky & has such great energy! Dr. Khris is fast, gentle & efficient. Super down to earth! I just went in for a routine cleaning with Lyn & she Gave me some stones, i got to pick a card & went home w a grocery bag! How many dentist do you know that do that! Not to mention the essences that permeated the air as I walked in were delightful!
Bleeding - After an extraction, a wet gauze pack is placed over the extraction site to prevent excessive bleeding and to promote the healing blood clot. Keep pressure on it for 30-45 minutes and replace if bleeding continues. Slight bleeding may occur up to 2 days. Avoid activities that could apply a suction action to the blood clot such as smoking or sucking through a straw.
After a crown preparation, some discomfort is normal. Dental work on a tooth is traumatic to the area and needs time to heal and settle down. The body's response to a procedure is to send blood to the area to help with healing. With respect to teeth the body usually over responds. When you traumatize other areas of your body your tissue can swell, but a tooth is rigid and cannot swell.

The staff is very professional and really listened to me when I had questions and requests. All the way through I felt that my concerns were addressed to the best of their ability and my understanding. Although dental visits are a source of anxiety for me, they did their best to keep me calm and comfortable with a minimum of sedation. They keep true to the holistic dental approach and were happy to refer me to an oral surgeon when what I wanted was outside their scope. Everyone there is extremely genuine and I am really happy with my experience there!

We took our 1.5 year old son for his first dental exam. Everyone was friendly and professional. Dr. Hilado was very kind and patient with our son, she even made him a little balloon with a glove! She gave us some good advice about cavity prevention, and she took her time with our son. We never felt rushed during the appointment.

Chose this place to find a Holistic dentist in my area. I am very pleased with the holistic adjustments compared to mainstream dental practices. Very friendly staff. Dr Kris is very helpful and makes sure I understand what is going on. Explains procedures well. Experienced minimal pain, even for major work. Highly recommend.

This was just for a consultation / no actual dental work but I found the office to be very clean and a comfortable environment using safety protocols and products that are environmentally friendly. I will update once I have work done, but found it to be a good experience so far.
UPDATE: I have now been for my amalgam removal and subsequent porcelain filling and I could not speak more highly of Dr. Hilado. She is by far the most patient, kind and attentive dentist I have ever been to. I have very sensitive teeth and was beyond relieved with the experience. I'm so glad to have the amalgams removed

The office did a great job finding time for appointments with the whole family. They took us on time. The office was very clean, the staff was friendly, the hygienist did a thorough job and my teeth felt really clean. Terrible handling of insurance and payment details with opaque and random charges 7-8 months after treatment... you won't know what ir how much you will be paying for, even when they tell you something is fully covered. You cannot rely in what you are told. Dentists are however nice and knowledgeable

Dr. Kris Hilado and Lynn Santos are a fantastic team. I have been seeing them for several years now, I actually was seeing Dr. Timothy Gallagher before he retired.
It was nice to have Lynn take over the practice when Dr. Gallagher retired and she has done a wonderful job of maintaining the integrity and values of the practice.
I have found both Lynn and Dr. Hilado gentle, caring, and detailed in their care. They always take the time to discuss my dental care and make me comfortable with any procedures.
Recently I needed a referral for some work outside of their scope at Sunnyvale Dental Group.
It was nice to have Lynn take over the practice when Dr. Gallagher retired and she has done a wonderful job of maintaining the integrity and values of the practice.

This practice continues to send me invoices. They did absolutely no work on me. I told Dr. H that Gallegher ruined my gums. He put bonding on my crooked lower front teeth. This was to give the illusion of straight teeth. This has ruined my gums in that area. I asked her to take the bonding off. She refused and I am suffering from it. My gums in that area are all inflamed.

I love Sunnyvale Dental. I have gone there since the wonderful Dr. Timothy was alive. He was an exceptional person, but sadly passed. Dr. Cris is very knowledgeable and they are the only office I can find that uses ozone - the miracle cure for so many things in your mouth. It is very hard to find good, honest biological dentists and she is the best. And, the hygienist is fantastic too, best teeth cleaning you could ask for! 10 stars!!

I made an appointment for consultation but it didn't quite work out. Front desk staff is pretty useless. I emailed my x-rays and asked for conformation, never heard back from them, then i called to verify if they got it and was assured they did and will get it to the doctor. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and I love Lynn and had a deep respect for Dr. G who was my first holistic nutrition teacher. He was an incredibly knowledgable, wise, and very dedicated man who gave his all to establishing and running this practice. Though he is no longer with us, Dr. Kris is an amazing replacement with a sweet demeanor and a great bedside manner. She's gentle, understanding, but also someone who knows her stuff. I really liked my visit here.
One) everything was on time, you aren't left waiting!
Two) A private room for the cleaning, and another private room for the Dentist. I can not tell you how nice it is NOT to hear every drill in a dental office.
Three) I felt very "at home", I was never made to feel like a number or nameless face. I will be going back!
