Rebecca's
Rebecca's was initially established in 1998, before the year 2000! Since then, we have retained and unleashed the same world class chef, kept the delightful menu consistent, preserved the cozy and romantic atmosphere, and improved the property. We have guests who have been experiencing dinner here for over 20 years!

This black and white picture was taken of the front of the restaurant around the time of opening in 1998. As you can see the character of the restaurant has remained exactly the same as the initial founder intended, and the aesthetics were improved, not changed. The owners intend to preserve the restaurant as a local landmark.
Services
A delicate wine, punctuated by a crisp acidity, Delicado is aromatic, fruity, and refreshing. Pairs with shellfish and other delicate dishes. Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Deeply delicious ("sabroso") it pairs with savory beef, lamb, grilled meats, and other hearty dishes.

My mom and I had our Christmas dinner at Rebecca's and it was wonderful! The restaurant looks beautiful and the staff was upbeat and provided friendly and attentive service. They must have updated the decor during the pandemic because it just looked very fresh and hip. We shared the huge guacamole to start and it was creamy and delicious, served with dried plantains. We each got a salmon dish - mine with a grapefruit topping and hers with mango salsa. The side for each was mashed coconut sweet potatoes which I could eat every day. It was all great! We each got the rice pudding for dessert

Nice cozy little restaurant hidden in one of the side streets of Edgewater. Came here for a friend's surprise party. Food and service was excellent. Nice place for an intimate date.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Edgewater. You would never know it's there based on the location and lack of parking. Everything from the appetizers to the entree to the desserts were excellent. The service was great and the ambiance it very unique. Highly recommended!

Rebeccas is still killin' it!

Being a BYOB we always bring a bottle of vino to turn into a lovely Sangria - the red has apples and oranges. Feeling frisky then try one of the white tropical sangria mixes.
They also offer bottles of wine for sale in the $25 range.

We dined at Rebecca's for our wedding anniversary this year and we are so glad we did. The food was exceptional! We had the appetizers - chorizo (which was excellent), shrimp (tasty with tostones and a very flavorful salsa, and super fresh guacamole and plantain chips. Then my husband had the mango mustard crusted glazed salmon with dirty rice and a pineapple mango salad which he loved and I had the ropa vieja which was excellent with mashed coconut yams which were to die for! We ended our meals with flan with cappuccino and a guava cheese empanada and cuban coffee.....a great way to end a meal

Celebrated my mom's celebration of life 10 year anniversary. It was amazing the staff was super attentive. The private patio was perfect for a small party gathering we had 22 people.
The food was amazing. It's byob but the will make sangria with your wine. Great price for what you get.

This place was fantastic. The food was beyond amazing. I had the ROPA VIEJA and my wife had the Lechon Asada. Both were REALLY good! We had the beef empanadas and yucca appetizers to start. Again both were delicious. As hard as it would be to outdo all of those we got the flan for dessert. It was so good I wanted to get one to go. Please do yourself a favor and save a little room for the flan. You will not regret it.

Honestly, one of best restaurants in the area. It’s cozy and well decorated. We went for dinner on a Friday at 6pm and were treated to great service and excellent food options. Their dishes have the perfect balance of Caribbean staples with fine dining. The tilapia was soft, tasty, and just cooked right! Oh, this is a a BYOB locale but they have a small wine selection on the menu. We will be returning.

It was wonderful to return to Rebeccas to celebrate another family event. I celebrated my wedding in 2019 and the experience was amazing.
We now picked Rebeccas again to celebrate our daughter’s bridal shower. The place is beautiful, they have recently renovated the restaurant, the staff is excellent and the food is delicious.
I recommend this restaurant to dine in and to celebrate any occasion!

I thought the food would be more tasteful. The food was plain and descent. The only thing good about this place is that it's BYOB.

I hosted a private event at Rebecca's and it did not disappoint. The food and ambiance was great. The staff were very attentive and made sure the event went smoothly. And best of all it's BYOB! I will definitely consider Rebecca's for future events.

Deception is the reason why I wrote this review. I can understand their struggle post-pandemic, but I won't tolerate deception.

Was here today for Mother's Day. I was disappointed but was not going to write this review of a restaurant likely struggling to bounce back post-pandemic, but felt compelled when I noticed that we were deceived more than once by staff.

When we made the reservation over a week ago, we asked for outdoor seating. When we arrived, there was no outdoor space. It was a solarium type area in the back of the restaurant. At our request, a sliding door was opened and

Attended Rebecca's with my fiancé, sister in law and her significant other to celebrate an occasion. This spot is very beautiful online but unfortunately we weren't able to experience that side and were seated by the restroom (note to management below) We spoke to our waiter and ask to be moved if possible and they kindly made those accommodations. We pulled up our menu online and were ready to enjoy everything Rebecca's has to offer (a little bit of everything) we were placing our orders in for the Sangria's to celebrate a joyous occasion and were told that this establishment

Another Cuban restaurant I enjoy.

If you're ever in the jersey area and want to visit somewhere more secluded I would recommend. The night I went was pretty busy even though I called to reserve a table- there was a lot going on. I remember asking the waitress for another bread basket and it was a while before she showed up with it.

Moving on. The croquets were soo delicious! Probably my favorite from any place I've been to so far.
The shrimps were cooked to perfection (hate over cooked shrimp) and had a great garlic flavor. I of course completed my meal with rice and beans.

Rebecca's is a hole in the wall Cuban place, and I had a great experience here! We got a bunch of appetizers for the table and everything was delicious-- I highly recommend the steak quesadilla and the plantains & guac. They have a lovely outdoor seating area all the way in the back, and theyre BYOB so it's easy to have a chill and more quiet night with some friends, without it feeling crowded

3.5 stars! Rebecca’s has a romantic atmosphere, and provides great service. Overall the food is just ok. We ordered the steak quesadillas and the cilantro shrimp. The steak quesadillas were pretty boring, and not that good. The meat was undercooked, and it wasn’t cheesy. Basically, just undercooked meat tossed in a tortilla with no cheese. The cilantro shrimp was seasoned well, but we didn’t care for the tostones it came over. They need a better appetizer selection here! For entrees we had the ropa vieja and the salmon entree. The ropa vieja had a good flavor, but it tasted like it was made

I love Rebecca's. Consistent food quality and service and their lovely backyard with lights are just so cute and makes everyone feel better. Indoors are more classy so you can't go wrong with either one. And the staff! Can they be any sweeter and professional? They are amazing. Yelp has an amazing deal $40 for $30 so you can save $10 right there.

And the food is excellent as well! I always get guacamole here since I love their plaintain chips. I wish guacamole has some tomato or some kind of red color, but it's still good. Salad with chorizo and chickpeas is also amazing. I usually

1. Chorizo - awesome! So tasty and juicy. Seasoned just right (not the typical salty overcooked sausage)
2. Guacamole and plantain chips - crispy, nutty fried plaintain chips and fresh guacamole. So good
3. Spicy chicken soup- omg. This soup is the best chicken soup ever!!! My family werent that hungry but we finished every drop of the soup. Hearty, fresh healthy soup with lot of chicken, potatoes
