Its with great regret that i write this review. Disaster Plus must be a decent company given their reviews so my experience must have been an aberration. However, i feel obligated to write this to protect others who may consider using this company.
In short, my wife and i had water damage on the same day we were traveling. Disaster plus showed up quickly and began work. They set up a dehumidifier in a separate bathroom away from the source of the water damage. Jody from Disaster Plus accidentally put the stopper down in the sink while water was going. So for 3 days they flooded my guest bathroom

I called to get an estimate for a bathroom remodel to be paid through a homeowners insurance claim. I provided all the paperwork and photos they required, and then heard nothing back. When I followed up after a week they said they never bothered to call me back because they didn't want the job since the insurance wouldn't pay enough. I asked if Service Master could provide a written estimate so I could go back and ask the insurance company to adjust the amount. Service Master told me they'd only provide a written estimate if I paid $250. So I guess if you want to waste a week of your time and end

While the work they did wound up being acceptable to good, the timing was atrocious. On at least a half dozen times, their employee/repair person was a no show. We'd call them to ask why the person wasn't here and we got "oh, I meant to call you to say he couldn't make it because...." It took about a month to finish the project which was a small job - replace a water damaged ceiling section (10 sq. ft.), replace carpet padding, have carpet cleaned, repaint ceiling. Hire them if you don't mind the long wait for the job to be done.
