Mr. Perez has nearly a decade of experience as a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He earned his Degree in Mortuary Science from FINE Mortuary College in Norwood, MA. He completed his apprenticeship and worked as a licensed funeral director at several funeral homes in Boston.
You may be considering shipping your loved one's remains to another state or country. Perez Funeral & Cremation Services will put together the proper documentation based on the state's or country's requirements, so that the transport is quick, secure and worry-free for the client. We can handle paperwork in any language and will cater the transportation based on your individual needs.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).
A United States flag is provided, at no cost, to drape the casket or accompany the urn of a deceased veteran who served honorably in the U. S. Armed Forces. It is furnished to honor the memory of a veteran's military service to his or her country. Generally, the flag is given to the next-of-kin, as a keepsake, after its use during the funeral service.

He helped my sister and I with the process and arrangements of our dear mother. Furthermore, he & his team every step of the way; Were very supportive, respectable, loving, humble, understanding, and patient with us all. I highly recommend Michael and Perez Funeral and Cremation Services. He was available to answer calls late at night and early in the morning. During this time of uncertainty, he was very considerate and patiently guiding me through the whole process.
The home is very clean and spacious for a small funeral service. Prices weren't our main concern, but it helped that we weren't taken advantage of. He was willing to accommodate all of our requests, some were really out of the way. Regardless, he did not intend to charge us more. After experiencing the death of my son Mike Perez had the patient and the words to keep me calm through this situation. And after having a date for a memorial service Lawrence experience a tragedy due to Columbia Gas Co. This funeral home worked with me in every way to make the service move forward and he found a place where he was able to conduct it and provide us an exceptional service. Loosing anyone is difficult and the pain never gets any easier. A good friend of mine had recommended Michael and his services from Perez Funeral Home. Michael was very understanding of our situation as well as very supportive and thoughtful. Michael made everything from the paperwork to transportation to work he crematorium go smooth and my family had to worry about nothing. Special requests were honored. Great people to deal with. There was something personal and approachable about Mike Perez as soon as I saw him. Right away I felt that I could trust him to lead me through my sudden loss of my mother and talk about cremation. I can't find one fault with this man or his family company. He was professional and very warm at the same time. It was such a relief to me to have to deal with this subject and feel comfortable with his work, his comforting presence, and to have that part of my grief behind me.

Perez funeral home made a very difficult experience an easier one. They went out of their way to make sure everything we wanted and needed we available to us. Mike went over and above to see that our loved one was beautiful to take her next journey. Always available to answer any and all questions and if he didn't have the answer would find one. Mr. Perez is a very thoughtful, calm, and considerate funeral director. During the entire process Mr. Perez was very helpful and accommodating. Most importantly, he was available to answer my questions. The funeral home is VERY clean and nicely put together (including the bathrooms). We had over 100 people attend the wake and everyone was impressed with the venue. Mr. Perez and his staff were professional and pleasant throughout the wake and funeral service. I highly recommend Perez Funeral.
