Found this office thanks to my insurance company. They take Medi-Cal and were excepting new patients. Cleaned my teeth and fixed two chips in my two front teeth and did an excellent job! Very clean office and professional staff. I would highly recommend and I'm happy I found Victoria Village Dentistry!

Tl;dr - receptionist rejected my dental appointment because I wasn't in enough pain.

I've been waiting to get my cavities fixed for over 5 months because of COVID. I had called this place to finally get them fixed and was assigned an appointment date 2 weeks from the call.
The day of my appointment, I was called in the morning to confirm to which I said yes.
I pull up to the dentist in the morning and realize the front desk receptionist was in the back eating. She comes out with a Manila folder covering her face as she chomped down her food.
I told her I had an appointment

Right after my visit I walked to my car and cried! This dentist put SILVER fillings in my teeth. I'm 27 year old with pediatric style fillings.
I went to 2 different dentist this morning and they told me this type of fillings aren't done anymore. They stopped doing them on adults in the late 90s early 2000s. They also both suggested a different dental plan for me, suggesting wisdom tooth extractions which this dentist said not to do.
I feel stupid for going here! I should've never came here and never trusted her to work on my teeth!
Now I'm left with horrible teeth that

Does not provide sedation or NoS (Laughing Gas) for anxiety. Dr. Was very rude and refused to listen to my feedback. She asked me to raise my hand for any reason and she will stop. I raised my hand as she was ramming tools at the back of my throat making me feel distressed and she told me to put my hand down. When I asked if I can be seen by another provider she stopped in the middle of treatment and asked me if I would like to leave saying she doesn't know if anyone else will see me. When I asked for a PHI release form, she says she doesn't have one as there is no need for it. I informed her patient

I was having a lot of swelling & pain in my gums & had already had a different dentist tell me I needed a deep cleaning but at an outrageous price. I was able to get in right away here & was told the truth about my situation. I have Denti-Cal but found out I would need to wait for an approval to cover a deep cleaning, LUCKILY, this office doesn't cost an arm & a leg & I was able to pay a reasonable price for the same procedure, without the wait. I also found out that I didn't NEED the deep cleaning to the extent that the previous office had led me to think. I trust

Scheduled an appointment for my wife and left my number so they can call me. My wife showed up and they were closed. Called on Tuesday and they had informed me that they called everyone to reschedule appointments. They must have mist a few because I never got a call and now she has to wait 2 weeks for another visit.
