Services
Consolidated Insurance Services (CIS) is a Northwest based company whose philosophy is to educate the consumer on all of their options for their insurance needs. Principal John Esparzo has over 30 years of experience serving the senior markets. CIS is an independent agency that represents some of the most respected and reputable companies within the industry.
We are able to offer a wide range of plans for all insurance needs. Our agents don't focus on one specific product, but offer their services to our clients and beneficiaries, and help them through the confusing maze that is the insurance industry.
Medicare Part C (Medicare Advantage plan) covers all the services that Parts A and B, and may also include prescription drug coverage plus extra benefits like vision, hearing, dental and preventive services. Where you live (based on your ZIP code) often determines which Medicare Advantage Plans are available to you.
All Medicare Supplements were standardized in 1992, in June of 2010 they were Modernized. Insurance companies that are selling Medicare supplements, all sell the same Modernized plans. You can go to any doctor any hospital anywhere as long as they accept Medicare. There are no networks. The benefits in the Modernized plans do not change unless Medicare changes them.
Medicare Advantage Plans (like an HMO, PPO, HMO-POS) that offer Part D, referred to as (MAPD) plans. You cannot enroll in both a stand-alone Part D plan and a MAPD plan. Be sure to review the plan's drug formulary with your agent when deciding on a plan. Once you enroll you'll be Locked-In until the end of calendar year, unless you have an available SEP.
