Advancements in the mental health field have made disorders more easy to diagnose and treat. Bipolar, also known as manic depression, is one condition that we continue to better understand. This has allowed patients and their loved ones to utilize more accessible resources for care management.
The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) is a book used by mental health professionals to provide a diagnosis for disorders, including bipolar disorders.Since the DSM defines multiple types of bipolar, a complete medical exam is needed to create an individualized plan and help determine the best course of treatment.

I've been going here since I was a young teenager, my family and I have been with them for several years.
PROS: Janet Strong is amazing. She's so willing to work with you, make adjustments, and help you out with your needs. She also has suggestions if you need to fix something but don't want medication. She's the main reason we've been going here for so long.
CONS: Downsides come down to a couple things-- the main problem is that I suspect the office is participating in billing abuse-- but I'll elaborate on that later. I've had other Psychiatrists at this office that were accusational, insensitive

Never thought I'd have to worry about my mental health provider gaslighting me... You'd think a mental health clinic would have some compassion, but they absolutely do not have any in the support staff (Angela was good enough). I jumped through every single hoop they asked, then they dropped the ball multiple times and rudely blamed it all on me, while lying to my face and saying it was all my fault.
I've spent over $1000 to jump through all their hoops and paid for multiple appointments, and 8 months later I still haven't gotten the medication that I need to function that I went to them for,

I had a great experience. I came into the walk in hours in the evening and saw Jeff. He was so caring and helpful. The front desk girl was very sweet. I saw her get yelled at by another lady and felt so bad for her. Even then, she was very professional with the lady. I definitely recommend this place if you are in a bad way.

This is the best place to go for psychiatric services!!! I highly recommend everyone to go to Stuart Coldsnow here at Omega. Previously I’ve spent almost a year struggling to find a right place, places prescribing me meds that made me worst. But since going to Stuart for the past few months, I’ve never felt better. He diagnosed me correctly and I feel that I’m finally getting back on track with my life. My anxiety/ depression and ADHD has definitely gotten better since going here. Stuart cares about his clients and has made me feel welcomed and comfortable enough to talk about all my problems

Have greatly appreciated Chris Chandler's knowledge on medicine and treatment. I have never had a psychiatrist who wasn't just pushing pills at me. I know that he is being careful with how he prescribes me and has my best interest in mind. My only complaint is not about him! I have tried calling the office multiple times and the voicemail says that they will get back to you, I have called 3 times about 3 different things over a period of months and have never gotten a message back. Despite this, I am really thankful for the walk-in nature of this place and my psychiatrist!

Angela grant is super sweet and helpful. I have been to other facilities that just pump you full of random drugs and she has been very careful about what she prescribes to me & not just rushing into a diagnosis with all kinds of different drugs. She has been patient with me and non judgmental, I feel like she really cares about helping me and working with me to find the best meds. I also just started seeing Angelique for therapy and I feel very comfortable with her. She has offered multiple strategies for therapy and I am excited to get started with her on my recovery. Lastly, all the receptionist

I've visited here for 2 years. Very polite and helpful staff. The counselors and psychiatrist are personable and easy to talk to. Their schedule is very accommodating with extended evening hours. The staff give you very concrete, step by step advice to help you get past whatever you're facing. Love it here.
