Dr. Philip Atigre of Accord Medical Group in Tampa, Florida, is board-certified in internal medicine. He was born and raised in Ghana, then received a grant to study in Cuba when he was 13 years old. He became fluent in Spanish, finished his primary education, and went on to study medicine.
In 1996, Dr. Atigre received his medical degree from the University of Havana School of Medicine and accepted a position as lecturer of medical physiology at Spartan Health Sciences University in St. Lucia.A year later, he became the medical officer in charge of the island nation's sexually transmitted disease program.

This has been a miserable experience working with Accord Medical Group. I went for a normal routine check up and was told to get some testing done at another facility in which I did 2 days later. I have called multiple times in the past month and a half about trying to get myself the results from the test facility and they continue to tell me they are still working on it.
I have also been working on trying to make a payment with their billing center and they tell me that it may take almost 2 months for the billing to go through. I have never encountered such a long duration of a wait like that

Very nice place, not too long wait time and very good nurses and doctor. The only problem is the phone. It’s very hard to get connected with them. As soon as you call with out asking what do you need they put you on hold. After 1 hour I hang up, and if I call again is the same thing. At any time doesn’t matter if they are busy or not. I went in person and it was empty. Someone called and they put them on hold when they had nothing else to do. I think they do that and leave you holding until you get tired and hung up. That ways the calls are answered but not really.

It was my first time to this doctor's office and Dr it was basically orientation getting to know the people in the office and the doctors and what they do there they're very informative a very considerate willing to listen about your health issues and conditions and willing to do the best they can to help you the best way possible to improve your quality of life very clean atmosphere Smiles on everybody's faces

Accord Medical Group Dr. Atigre and his staff is Very well trained and knowledgeable. When you go or when take your love ones to other Doctors they are always linked up with every Different doctor you go to so they are on the same page as everyone else.
The most Important part is they treat you like family..

Horrible Office staff does not even say Hello and puts people on hold for ever repeatedly. Dr. Atigre is extremely rude and unprofessional and passes the responsibility of his staff to his patients. My LAST VISIT and you should think twice before seeing him. The ONLY compassion the Doctor has is billing the insurance company for his incompetent service.
