Howard and Brian were happy to help me with creating and applying new buttons from the left over fabric for my vintage mid century modern piece I have been restoring. They are super busy but were happy to fit me in short notice and were able to install them without removing all the entire upholstery!

I saw the reviews and thought this would be the best option to choose from for my project. I called and asked for a bid, I was told to email pictures over and was informed "that's how we're doing things now". After two weeks and two emails I give up with no returned contact.----> this is a red flag. I will take my business elsewhere.

Short Story - Do not let the lack of a fancy showroom fool you. Howard & Brian are the real deal, experts at their trade. Fair, honest, and highly skilled.
Long Story - I purchased two danish designer Selig Z chairs from the east coast that came with four cushions that were old and tired. I was planning to have them reupholstered when I bought them. The important thing to me was having them redone in a way that would accentuate the original beauty of the chairs, not slap on "modern" bulky cushions that would take away.
I brought the cushions to Eidem to size them up.

We've been trying to reach Howard and finally set up an appointment with him. He completely blew us off. No call, didn't bother to call and apologize and/or reschedule and won't answer his phone. Nothing! It's too bad. We worked with him in the past and were satisfied but his extreme lack of professionalism this time around really soured us.

Best place ever! I had cushions re stuffed. They had the lowest quotes. Then I chose fillings that were too hard, and Howard agreed to redo them with softer options for free. He did them in 3 short days even with a hand surgery! Now he's even delivering them to a convenient place for me! Best service ever and nicest guy. Recommend in every way.

We were referred to Eidem Upholstery by a friend to have an antique wing chair reupholstered. Initially, we got wonderful treatment and were told the chair would be done within a month. I happened to be near the warehouse and went to to check the progress of my chair and was chagrined to find out that the work had not begun on the chair (30 days after I delivered the chair). However, management quickly moved me to the top of the list and delivered the chair to our house for free. In addition, because of the mishap, management threw in a free new seat cushion.

We had a unique issue, a large Restoration Hardware sofa we own could not make it past our entryway, into the house.
We considered having a wall removed, but would require new footings, etc in the basement.
After calling several upholstery shops, we had an appointment with Howard.
He came to our home, offered 2 different options (less and more invasive to the sofa) and got to work. Luckily option 1 works, and we couldn't be happier with his work or professionalism. Would definitely work with him again!
