Founded in August of 1995 by Sister Bernadette Kinniry and Father Don Reilly, Siloam was born out of a conviction that achieving health requires a holistic approach: to successfully beat illness, one must invest in comprehensive wellness.
Through a collaborative planning process involving over sixty community members and stakeholders, Siloam has emerged as a truly unique provider of mind/body/soul to support to those living with HIV/AIDS in the Philadelphia area by addressing the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being, as well as the soul of persons living with and or affected by the disease.

Services
We design our food pantry to offer a selection. This gives our friends living with HIV / AIDS dignity and respect that comes with the ability to choose their meals. While access to medicines is extremely important, the needs of people with HIV/AIDS extend far beyond drugs and health care. HIV/AIDS care strategies therefore need to be comprehensive.
MANNA uses nutrition to improve health for people with serious illnesses who need nourishment to heal. By providing medically tailored meals and nutrition education. UnitedHealth Group Incorporated is an American for-profit multinational managed healthcare and insurance company based in Minnetonka, Minnesota.

If I could give more stars than 5, I would give a 10 star! We missed your old Volunteer Coordinator/Administrative Assistant, Dawayne White. He was a compassionate and dedicated worker in assisting everyone he could when possible. He was professional and very educated at what he did through working with Siloam. EVERYONE talk about his captured beautiful smile, eyes, and great work ethics. He cared for us when no one else did. The company has changed a lot since his departure. Maybe the company CEO should contact him to bring him back! COME BACK DAWAYNE!!!!!

I find myself in a quandary. Siloam was there to redirect me back to my spiritual center . But it lacks the vision to grow and meet clients at their level of comprehension. There is an attitude of White Privilege 😂 that knows what is best for those poor souls. The problem is they are blinded to the needs of the HIV infected and affected people. Only having demeaning benevolence that is self serving....
