Anaga Psychotherapy Center was founded in 1995. It's founder and director, Josefina Perez-Castro, is a licensed clinical social worker, (LCSW), and a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work with over 36 years of clinical practice in the South Florida community. Our team of therapists have years of experience serving our diverse community.
Each stage of life, from childhood, to adolescence, adulthood, and older adulthood has special challenges and needs. An experienced and trained therapist understands the continuous changes a person goes through in their life span and knows how to adapt their therapeutic treatment to the needs of every one of their clients.
A graduate of Barry University in 1981 after obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at FIU she has been a part of the South Florida community for many years. Josefina developed as an experienced clinician by receiving extensive training in individual, marriage, family, and group therapy.
Her clinical experience started with her clinical work for the Dade County Department of Youth and Family Development followed by working as a Clinical Supervisor for Dade County Family and Victim Services.In private practice since 1985, Ms. Perez Castro and her associates built a practice under Josefina Perez-Castro, PA that is still operating in the same area.

Andrea Puech is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who graduated from Florida International University after completing prior studies in Argentina and France. She brings to her clinical practice her extensive experience and training in counseling individuals and groups for clients with diversified ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including adolescents, adults and geriatric population.
Angie Dominguez obtained her Master in Clinical Social Work from Barry University as a Clinical Social Worker. She previously graduated from the University of Miami, majoring in Psychology. She has been in field of clinical practice providing services for children, adults, and family in our diverse community for over 40 years.
