Buyer's Title, Inc. wants to be your title and real estate closing service provider. Based out of Fort Lauderdale, we close transactions on behalf of Buyers, Sellers, and Lenders throughout the entire state of Florida. At Buyer's Title, the parties to the transaction are our first priority.

Barbara Ungerman is the President of Buyer's Title, Inc. and oversees the closing operation. She has been with the company for over 20 years and has been in the real estate and title arena for over 33 years starting out as a licensed real estate agent selling both residential and commercial real estate before transitioning into the title and closing arena.
We make every effort to pay all of the parties involved quickly, oftentimes the same day the transaction closes. However, this can vary based on the day or time of day the closing occurs. For example, most banks aren't open after 5 or 6 pm and are closed on weekends.

If you are owed Commission as Realtor, you can usually expect a check to be cut the same or next business day, and estimate an extra day or two for FedEx delivery to actually receive it.If you'd like to receive the funds very quickly, it might be a good idea to select a Monday- Thursday closing date.
We have implemented multiple industry procedures to ensure your privacy and security. These include ALTA's Best Practices, TRID, and Data Call. Powerful tools help us ensure that the largest transaction of your life is completed the right way the first time. For example, weekly staff meetings and quarterly training keeps our team up-to-date on the latest industry requirement and company policies.
Hacked email - Hackers get access to the email account of someone involved in the transaction - the buyer, seller, real estate agent, mortgage lender, title agent, or other. Email from hacker - The hacker then emails that person to change the wiring or payment instructions without knowledge from the other parties.

Used this company to close on a home back in 2015. Currently in the process of refinancing, and decided to use them again. Have sent emails, and even spoke with their receptionist on the phone about getting them to do my refinance. I have not received a single response. I guess I'm no longer worth their time. Use someone else...
Update (11AUG21): I received a return call from Barbara today, deeply apologizing for not returning my calls/messages. She was able to get me all of the information I needed to complete closing on my refinance, with no issues.

Just not very pleased at this point! Fannie Mae property. Just read another review to BEWARE! Wish I had seen the review first. Costing me. Used a VA loan for low cost, then, get taken advantage of!

There are too many positive adjectives Buyer's Title deserves, but can't be listed or I'd be here all day. As a mortgage lender I know each and every time I refer Buyer's Title, Barbara and her team are going to give the very best service. They make me look like a hero to my clients. For any one looking to have a professional title company walk you through the ins and outs of your purchase or sale, you can stop looking because Buyer's Title is the only name you need to know.

Terrible service. they were supposed to prepare a title transfer and they instructed me to get a money order for the fee and come pick it up. No one ever called to confirm it was ready and when I called to check the status on it they acted and treated me like if it was my fault.
terrible customer service....... no responses from the staff no return emails.

I am seething mad right now!!!! My husband and I bought our house in south dade in 2000. We used Buyers Title out of Plantation for our Title company. We had no problems at closing, BUT now when we are selling our home we have had to spend upwards of a couple thousand dollars (not to mention aggravation and money lost due to the postponing of our current closing) to clear up open permits from 1992!!! I called Buyer's Title when the current title search was done and found to have these open permits and they were completely disinterested in owning up to THEIR mistake of not informing us of these

Probably one of the worst title companies I have ever dealt with. Indifferent and incompetent staff. If you have to use them and get someone named Annette assigned to your closing, ask for someone else! You have far better choices in South Florida to handling your closing needs
