Independent Title, refused, repeatedly, to provide me (seller) copies of the deposited and cleared, cashed checks and/or wire deposits, they claim they received! Their letter only stating they received the deposit - but no dates of when each was received, cleared and deposited, seemed insufficient. Several others in contract, in the Edgewater/Wynwood Miami area, have told me they had disputes with the same buyer and warned me he insisted they use this title comp. And they later told me then they were also unable to get these docs. Title companies are supposed to be neutral with handling of escrow

This was my first time using Independent Title of Fort Lauderdale, Inc. I had a wonderful experience. Jim Santiago was very reliable, transparent and always returned my phone calls, and answered my questions. I was very impressed with their outstanding customer service and professionalism. This was my eighth property that I have purchased and this was my best experience out of all the other Title companies that I have used in the past.
