A class designed for both caregiver and child, providing a supportive environment for adults and socializing space for babies. Every 1 year old needs a special focus on building motor skills and exploring sensory development, something we strive to provide. Here we provide an immersive classroom experience with increased attention to social skills and imaginative play.
This class introduces real world play such as grocery store, bakery & hospital units and continues to focus on social skill expansion. A hybrid class designed to help your child continue to broaden his or her real world experience play and exposure to creative outlets all while learning kindergarten readiness.

We love KM! Both of my kids attend, 5 months and almost three. Teachers are kind, passionate about teaching, and care about our kids welfare.
This is a play based school, so no worksheets but my daughters is already doing well with counting and reading but doing really well with the social skills needed for kindergarten.

KM Coop is a wonderful place for my child to learn, grow, and build a solid community of caring parents. The teachers support a positive parent-child relationship and encourage learning through play. Making learning fun teaches our children that learning is enjoyable, and this is the positive educational foundation we work to create. I have attended KM for one year and I have come away with friendships, a place of support and a learning environment I trust.

My daughter is a current student at KM and even though we've moved to Maple Valley, we are keeping her there. We absolutely love the teachers, and the philosophy at this co-op. My daughter (2) has blossomed socially and we have already built some lifelong friendships with other families from our class. Because the school is not focused on academics, but rather, learning through play, the children have an opportunity to explore their own interests, even at this young age. What a joy to have the chance to teach my daughter independence and love of learning in a nurturing and supportive environment

My 4 year old and I have been going to KM since he was 10 months old, and every day he asks me when summer vacation will finally be over so he can go back.
We really enjoy going here, and I signed up his younger -1yo- sibling in the baby class as soon as enrollment started.
What I appreciate most is the great teachers who keep the focus on (learning through) play, and not on traditional academics. There's plenty of time for that later on. On the other hand, I really like the structured nature of the classes, as kids and parents always know what's coming up next.
