We are inspired to offer our Academic Classes as a trade which is to aspire and enhance your child's learning ability. These courses are designed to stretch your child's ability and magnify their knowledge by preparing them for the world at a very young age. Before your child's first day of school, we ask that all THBS Academy Parents attend one of our Weekly Orientation Sessions.

We find it highly effective to have Parents to attend our Orientation before their child can be completely enrolled in our program. This way we can gain your attention to review our Parent Handbook, discuss rules and regulations, Fees, our referral program along with your 1 week vacation.
This is one the best provider's ever. The energy of the staff is impeccable. If you read your parent handbook and follow the rules and regulations you would truly love this place. These folks are either money hungry or hurting for money. They charged extra fees for unnecessariness and are very inconsiderate of things that are out of your control. I was stuck in traffic for 1 WHOLE ENTIRE hour trying to get to my kid, and they still tried charging $35. They open at 8a and close at 5p, while other facilities open at 6:30a or 7a and close at 6 or 6:30p. They’re not for the children, they’re for the money.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value
The facility is a very old residential house. It is pretty unkempt for a school. No playground for the kids. Hallways are dimly lit and "classrooms" are very tiny. Staff was rude and unprofessional. Not worth a penny when there are so many other daycares to chose from in the area.

First thing first....I feel at ease, knowing that my 1 year old is at THBS! This is an Amazing center with loving staff!! Meals are always filling, my son is always clean and dry when I come to pick him up and the Communication is great. My son Loves to go to “school” and doesn’t want to leave in the afternoon 😩 and not to mention, he is advancing in so many ways. A handbook is given at the beginning of registration and can be a quick guide to any questions, concerns, or just fyi’s. Needless to say...I’m glad I found this academy and look forward to the next years.

Calling this place an academy is quite a stretch.
There are NO CAMERAS on site. How they get away with that is beyond me. If anything was to happen to your child, good luck getting to the truth.
To no surprise, the enrollment is very low. At times when I dropped my son there were a total of 3 children (that's right..1..2...3). So basically if none of the other kids are in your child's age group, your child is sitting alone all day watching YouTube on an iPad.
As for the staff, Ms. D surely cares about the kids. She has a passion and love for them. The "teacher" (Tomeka) barely looks up from

Professional, courteous staff. Have never had any issues with anyone. Safe place and the curriculum is great as well. Sign language, manners, Spanish, just all around appropriate age specific learning. The "academy" feel lets us know that when entering kindergarten our kids will be prepared. We are satisfied that our kids are in good hands.

My daughter and I are so grateful to have found Truly Amazing people that make you feel like family the minute you walk in. THBS Academy is the place to bring your little one(s). My daughter was 19 months when she first attended. They are known to be welcoming, have an instant friendly atmosphere and known for its nurturing environment, they have nurtured, taught, embraced, and encouraged her to strive. Their consistency has helped my daughter learn sign language, Spanish, ABCs, and other wonderful fundamentals a child deserves. The staff welcomes anyone!! The director at this daycare is so unprofessional. My daughter has attended this place since she was 10 months old, she now 2 years old. The director, Kenisha Oliver has a real issue with understanding that she is providing a service to the public, not the other way around. I don't need the same hours of childcare as other parents so most days I would drop my daughter off around 10 am. Kenisha likes for all of the children attending to arrive by 9. However, her hours of operation are between 6:30 am and 7 p.m. On this particular day I dropped my daughter off around 10:30 in the morning and Kenisha

I love this academy!! Everyone is so nice and understanding! My son has learned the basics in sign language and Spanish!! He loves going in and their hours are the best (OPEN UNTIL 7PM) which is always a deal breaker with my line of work! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this school to anyone.. oh AND THEY SERVE made from scratch HEALTHY food items! its awesome!!
