Many people are surprised to find out that the main drain that connects their house to the city sewer is their responsibility. Damage to this drain can cost thousands of dollars to repair. Also, repairs often mean digging up the yard which results in lost landscaping, flowerbeds, and possibly driveway repairs.

My wife and I recently purchased some investment property and decided to hire Carey Home Inspection mainly based on a friends recommendation . Glad we did ,because Don and Matt were outstanding to deal with ! Extremely thorough, polite, and answered all our questions and addressed our concerns. The home is not turnkey and was owned by a DIY'r , so although the bones were good, the guys put our minds at ease that it wouldn't take too much to make it right. Big thumbs up for Carey Home Inspection !!!

I would recommend for home inspection, but never have them do a mold inspection. I just had a home inspection done by them and what they said to be mold and possibly cost up to 1,500$ was not even mold. It caused a lot of headache and valuable time in the buying process and delayed deadlines. A little disappointed they defined answer all your questions but when questioned prior to a second mold assessment they said there was no way they were wrong.

I would like to extend my gratitude for the services provided. I was very impressed with the quality of the inspection and the professionalism carried by you and your partner. I have herd lots of stories from others about home inspections being a waste of time and money and with this being my first home I will gladly admit I was nervous. Don at Carey Home Inspection has a very professional, thorough, and efficient team. They take the time to explain, in great detail, what the situation is, and what needs to be done for remediation/repairs/servicing/etc. They offer many different services as well, so you can get all of your inspections done at one time (structural, pest, etc).
