Services
We repair & paint stock OEM bodywork and fuel tanks to look identical to original condition. Our plastic repair work is one of the best in business. Plastic welding, gas tank dent removal, fiberglass/carbon fiber repairs, and factory color matching are all done on site. Since we are a small specialist shop, we provide great service while making it our priority to get your motorcycle back on the road as quickly as possible.
CycleFinish works with you and your insurance company. We handle everything from writing your repair estimate and handling your insurance claim to picking up your crashed motorcycle in the Bay Area. After your motorcycle arrives at CycleFinish, we inspect all crash damage and write a detailed repair estimate covering all the damage occurred.
We repair damaged fuel tanks to look perfect again. We start the repair by using a special stud gun that welds draw pins to the dent area and use a slide hammer to pull the dent. This allows us to draw the dent out without drilling or filling the dent with putty. Then we finish out the area with a thin coat of surface glaze, block sanding, and then add a coat of hi-quality primer.
We can repair fiberglass bodywork parts such as Ducati 900ss, 851/888, and older BMW bodywork. We grind out splintered or cracked areas to about half it's original thickness. We then apply top quality epoxy resin and tight woven cloth to the damaged area to bring it back to the original thickness. After the repair has cured, we do this same process to the backside of the damage area.

I had a very tight time-frame so I made an appointment. I mentioned this to Ken Smith. He advised it would take about an hour, and it took exactly an hour which was perfect. I was able to get the service done quickly and get back to what I needed to be doing. Then Ken advised me on a rebate for the oil that I use, so he saved me $25 on the next time I come for service. Ken is the best, thanks much all!

I gave Bobby $200.00 cash down to pull 4 small dents out of my Honda gas tank, and primer only on Aug 6,2019,i have not received 1 phone call from him telling me whats going on with my tank i have called him a dozen times,e-mail, him that much also, and still no word what so ever.i hope he's man enough to call me,we'll see if he is, thanks Bobby

After my motorcycle went down, my mechanic had the body parts—two plastic fenders and a metal fuel tank—sent down to Bobby for repainting. This was the second time Cycle Finish has completed paint work for me and I wouldn’t question about going back for my next repair or custom paint job. Bobby did a difficult paint job for me and absolutely hit it out of the park! Tremendous result, absolutely first class. Very friendly and easy to communicate with. He might not be the quickest to respond to emails, but I'm guessing that it's because he's so busy due to the demand for his services. Frankly, I'd rather have him working his paint magic than sitting at keyboard creating estimates. I found his prices more than fair. A true artisan. Highly recommend!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had damage to my bike in 2016. Tried to call this guy several times. This guy is very hard to reach by phone. When I did get a hold of him. He told me was short on help. I asked if he could give me an estimate, he told me to emai him all my pictures of the damage on my bike. So I emailed him, and never heard anything back from him. Thanks for wasting my time.

OMFG when I saw my Dyna tank bobby did I was lost for words. Dude is A1. Real professional. Somebody who sincerely enjoys what they do is hard to find. I jacked my tank up bobby pulled the dent and finished it off with some decals I found off a 79ish low rider it is f$@kin CLEAN! Leave this guy alone and let him do his thing. You will NOT be disappointed.

I am not sure what happened to one of the other customers in terms of not getting responses back. For me Bob did a great job. It's true that the first time I contacted him via email, I got a response only 2 or 3 days later (i assumed they were busy). But I did get a response and the work was perfect and on schedule. Definitively recommending this place.

Cool guy, does good work. Place is kind of out in the middle of no where. Wasn't super fast, but good quality and decent price. He fixes a lot of Ducati Monster tanks like mine. Pulled the bent metal, smooth putty, nice custom paint and even painted another bike part all for less than my quote from a shop in SF. The paint looks beautiful, bike looks amazing now. I had no communication problems at all, sometimes we would email back and forth a few times a day. Quality from small shop, owner/operator who can give the job the attention it deserves.

I don't know what is wrong with these guys. They have a website that ask customers to send them pictures of a bike that needs to be painted. When I send them an email (over 12 days ago) with pictures of my 2004 CBR 1000RR for a quote, no response. OK...so I give them the benefit of the doubt and send them another email. Once again, no response. Not even an automated reply that says, "we received your request and will be getting back to you shortly".
