I've purchased 3 motorcycles at J&M. I've also sold two through the consignment process. The owner, sales and support staff make this a very easy process and also a very pleasant experience. There isn't much room for negotiations on the bikes which is fine with me because the inspection process they put the bikes through is very extensive and I know I'm not going to get stuck with a lemon.

That is not a 1 star it is a- 1 star.If you do not work for your money. And do not want a warranty and hate to mess with customer service this is your place to buy. You will be better off with china. Please read all reviews before buying from this place. And do not think paypal will help. You can just send me your money if you want to throw it away. That's what I did. Live and learn. STAY WITH SUMMIT you won't regret it in the long run

Purchased a 2013 Harley Davidson Road Glide Custom and the process was entirely painless. Tony B was my salesman and was very professional and the bike was in outstanding condition with new brakes and after several hundred miles no problem at all. Getting lots of compliments on the condition of the bike and the money I paid for it. Great dealer!!

Awesome first bike purchase experience. Everything went smoothly and simply without any hesitation to show me all the motorcycles i wanted to see and hear. they even went as far as explaining every part of the purchase and compared prices on the motorcycles i had interest in so i could feel comfortable with my purchase. I walked out the dealer the proud owner of a 2006 GSX-R 600.

I stopped by J and M after seeing their inventory online. There was a Ducati Monster in the showroom calling my name. I stopped by one day on a whim to scope the place out, I was essentially a lookeyloo at this point. Tony greeted me with a smile and we chatted for a bit about the bikes in the showroom. From that moment I knew this would be a good place to buy a bike. The showroom was clean, all the bikes they had were in good shape. I came by once more to zero in on the Ducati. Two days later I contacted the shop via Email, Justin was in contact with me immediately. I filled out their online finance

The first bike i bought from them had a consistent issue with the stator going out, unfortunately left me stranded a couple of times. The way they handled my situation is the reason why I've just bought my second bike from them and plan on buying my litre bike in the future from them aswell. Joe is awesome and Ivan is friendly as well as informative. Thanks guys!

Tony (the main agent) is very arrogant. He would make fun of people getting scared of their first motorcycles and then selling them to him. Apparently, that is how he makes his business. He said that so many time during my visits. He also told me "if you want to buy a new bike from the dealer go ahead, your bike will probably be here in my store after a week". Not nice. I had a great time with Cristian instead. He is a nice and kind kid. More importantly, I bought a used bike from them and they sold it to me with one single key and no manual (which should have a key code as well). The bike was

They have a great selection of bikes and the staff does not pressure you to buy anything. The process was quick and easy. They took my bike to the back for a final inspection while we finished the paperwork. They rolled out my bike to the front. 5 minutes after leaving the Shop my gas light came on. I was a bit upset who sells a bike with an empty gas tank, but hey you know it's only $15 to fill up. 4 days later I start smelling a burn smell after riding my bike. I look at the floor and it's leaking oil. I proceed to checking my oil and my dipstick is loose. My fairings and back wheel

UPDATE; So Ivan reached out and asked what he could do to make this right. To be honest part of me wanted to just hang up but I give him major props for reaching out. Not many places give a sh** about you once your gone. So maybe my review was more important than me for say but still. The stepped up and not only insured me the people who would have been in charge of the issues I had are gone but reimbursed me for what I had to buy. I like the Bike as I said in my original review. They certainly had a lot of nice bikes in there. My only advise is to check the oil or better yet make an outside appointment

J&M Motorsports has been the "go to" dealer for both my brother and myself for years. As a return customer, often years apart, I have always had a great browsing and buying experience with their helpful and friendly staff. In fact, between us, we still own 4 of the last 5 motorcycles we purchased from J&M, with the one exception being a bike that was totalled in a collision. They clean, service, replace tires, and safety check every single bike they have, and every bike we have bought from them have all been excellent bikes!

Bought a cruiser from them a few months ago. I have only ridden it a few times. A few things to note 1. You can't test ride a bike. You can buy it and then bring it back within 30 min (literally what I was told) if you find something wrong or dont like it. 2. Dont expect that they have done anything to the bike aside from clean it. How do i know this? Because i decided to change the oil as a precaution and it was black sludge. Really..u cant even just replace the oil? Also there was air in the hydraulic clutch line that was picked up at the dealership when i took it in. Why was it at the dealership

Bad vibes from the moment we walked in. My wife was shopping for a used Harley as her first bike and they basically ignored us from the get go.
Once we flagged someone down for help, they couldn't be less enthused about helping us. Everyone kept looking at me like I was the decision maker but we made it CLEAR that it was my wife shopping for HER bike.
The subtly sexist and "oh, you guys don't look like people who are pulling their wallet out on the spot so we're not going to help you" makes this a one star experience for us. We literally drove up to Oakland Harley-Davidson

So I just bought my upgrade today 2009 Yamaha R1 from J&M and the price was good and the cleanliness of the shop was good and the bikes were very well maintained. Compared to the supposed competitors AK Motors (dont know how they are competitors) it was completely the opposite especially when it came to the cleanliness of the shop and the maintenance of there bikes. J&M made me feel like they wanted my business and AK pushed me aside. Thank you J&M for your help. Keep up the good work.

To manager::: i don't think you understand, the only reason I had not finished the purchase because I was waiting on your rep to get back to me for the loan approval. Does a person who is buying a home have it sold out from underneath them while they are getting the loan? Have some integrity and follow thru and get your reps to follow up quicker on loan approvals. Doesn't take that long! Loans can be approved in minutes..your doing lame business!!

I had been watching a bike on their website for a couple of weeks while I hurried to save the rest of the money to make the purchase. I finally had all the cash but dreaded calling J&M because I bunched them in to the group of all the other car and motorcycle dealerships that have left a bad taste in my mouth over the years.
I called and talked to Joe. He was a no-nonsense guy. Answered my questions quickly, had a good attitude, and we made a deal over the phone.
I picked the bike up the following day as discussed. It was prepped, ready, and it looked fantastic! It came with all the original

Found a 2013 fz6r online that had everything on it I was looking for with low miles. Anyway, I applied for financing and Anthony was very helpful overall.
Overall this was a painless experience, with friendly sales staff, a great bike selection....
Best of all, NO outrageous dealer mark up like some places in the Bay Area...

J&M Motorsports (6 stars)!!! I had a bike that I owed payments on, and another that I owned and didn't ride much. Shawn totally hooked me up with a great deal and gave me beyond fair trade in values- he went well above expectations, and I road home that day on my new bike (mint 2007 VFR800). Shawn even helped me get a refund on the unused portion of my service plan with one of my trade in bikes (thanks again). These guys are fair, sell exceptional quality bikes, and are all around great folks. I highly recommend doing business with them. If you see a bike online or on CL, get over there fast! Their

Where do I begin.. I had an amazing experience at this place. AMAZING. Thank you, Shawn, for putting me on the perfect starter bike for me.
