Davie Funeral Service, Inc. is a family-owned and locally-operated funeral home located in Mocksville, North Carolina, serving the Piedmont-Triad area since 1996. Owners Bob and Sue Sinclair strive to serve every family with the utmost care and respect. We serve all faiths and denominations, with custom funeral services available to the entire community.
Owner Sue Sinclair also serves as an administrator. She handles the necessary paperwork for Davie Funeral Service. She graduated with honors in Funeral Service Education from Fayetteville Tech in May of 2006. She is married to Bob, and they have two grown children, Emily and David, and two granchildren, Branden and Bailey.

Limited graveside service- Services of funeral director and staff, transfer of remains to funeral home, embalming and other preparation of body, staff and equipment for graveside service, funeral coach, utility van, and family car when needed. This package does not provide staff or facilities for visitation in our chapel nor your church.
This service includes the services of our funeral director and staff, local transfer of the deceased to our funeral home, preparation of the body (which is required by law when there is a public viewing), a celebration of life service, register book, memorial folders, acknowledgement cards, home equipment, transportation to the crematory, crematory fees, and the 24 hour holding of the remains as required by law.

With the funeral costs greatly increasing each year, pre-need planning can alleviate the financial burdens families may encounter when a loved one passes. Pre-need planning can also relieve many emotional burdens, by allowing you to make sound decisions in advance.

Our expectations of the departed looking like they just stepped out of the shower, for some , that may be. For the rest it is not the case. We do however expect a maximum attempt, hair is styled, clothing to look like that they are at peace. If makeup is used, then used wisely. There are only two events in the life that we can only do one time and one time only, weddings and Funerals.

Davie Funeral Service has a decent location and is clean and well-maintained. I would have given them more stars if it weren’t for two major errors. My father in law was a Marine 1st Sergeant and we wanted him buried in his dress blues. We knew his jacket would not fit. When we dropped off the clothes, we said to do what needed to be done to make it fit (cut open the back, etc). When we arrived, the man was not dressed properly. They asked us THE MORNING OF the viewing if they could cut the jacket and belt. I left explicit instructions when I dropped off the clothes. We had to wait in another
