From humble beginnings, DPA Auctions has a rich history of change and development. Del Peterson built Del Peterson & Associates in 1972, with a primary focus in the fertilizer industry. The family business grew by the exceptional service that they provided to their clientele. Decades later, Del's son, Steve Peterson, took over the company and led the innovative front to the nation's premier online auction company.
Yes, you must register individually for each auction. Terms are specific and subject to change from auction to auction so the terms must be agreed upon for that auction before any bidding can take place on behalf of the buyer. Bids placed on a DPA Auction are the sole responsibility of the person placing the bids and the responsibility of payment will be on said person.
I have lived in Oakland, NE my whole life. That is where I was raised by father and mother, Del and Joanne Peterson, who founded Del Peterson and Associates back in 1972. I graduated from Oakland, NE and headed to study and play football at the University of Omaha Nebraska. After an injury and the recommendation of my father I left to go work at Del Peterson and Associates in 1984.

They had a 2012 toyota tundra stating that it drives when I won the auction. I send for a trucker to pick the vehicle just for them to call back to inform me the vehicle is not drivable, to make things worst the truck didn't have the driver side axle and it has a blown engine. I paid $8400 for a truck whose engine is not less than $4500. I called DPA once the vehicle arrived requesting to speak with the seller agent, left him a voice mail till today he has never responded to me.

DPA auction is as good as any other auction out there and I deal with all most all of them. Great to work with when needed, don’t put you on hold. Must remember they work for the seller and buyer that can be difficult when you are in between trying to please. Keep up the good work, nice and professional people.

Lexi with DPA Auctions is absolutely wonderful to deal with. Our farm has a lot of success selling equipment through Lexi and DPA. Their appraisals are always very accurate, equipment is advertised to a lot of people extremely well, Lexi’s communication is top shelf, and everything is done in a time efficient manner. I had more than a pleasant experience selling my stuff with DPA. Long story short, we had a load of stuff we had to move around, from power tools to heavy scaffolding. Doug met us out there and he went above and beyond. He helped us move stuff almost all day which was completely out of his job description. What blew my mind the most was their marketing out reach. I'm not joking. I got calls from ALL OVER THE US. Brandon and Steve run a hell of a good operation over there and it would be ridiculous to choose any other agency.
