My approach is holistic and eclectic, often pulling from the following therapeutic modalities to support people: mindfulness, breath awareness, body-awareness/ embodiment/ somatic/ Brainspotting, trauma-informed, connection between thoughts- emotions- actions.I'm also versed with autoimmune issues, gut issues, and chronic illness.

Services
I was raised in Latin America and moved to the US in my preteens- a very crucial and difficult time for anyone to experience a such a big culture shock. I have experienced very stressful and difficult times that come from living in a multi-cultural family with complex trauma; this has yielded to having compassion and empathy for others.
I am a licensed psychotherapist (Licensed Clinical Social Worker/ LCSW) and trauma-informed Therapist. I have a very heavy background in Trauma, somatic practices, and different breathwork modalities. I always encourage looking at the whole picture of wellness- physical, emotional/ mental, spiritual, systemic/ oppressive, etc.
The term "breathwork" is often used loosely to describe a breathing modality that uses your breath as a means to fulfill or shed something. Today, you can find many different forms of breathwork, however, people don't usually talk about the history. This is my attempt to shed some light on the difference between ancient and modern breathwork modalities.
Modern Breathwork is a powerful gateway to reset the nervous system, release tension and emotions that are not helpful to you in this moment. Physiologically breathwork (breath) support detox in the body, brings more oxygen into the lungs/ bloodstream/ muscles, and increases vagal tone (the stress moderator).
These fees reflect the self-pay option. I am also INN with Optum, United, Highmark, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Federal BCBS, Capital BCBS, Anthem, Horizon, and Cigna. Please contact your insurance carrier to inquire about mental health benefits prior to requesting an appointment with me (below). If using insurance please call your insurance first to ask about your mental health benefits.

Report
Silvina's Breath classes helped me through one of the most significant transitions of my career.
Not old did I feel grounded, stable, and rejuvenation, but her calming approach brought a non-clinical feeling to what was a unique and life-changing experience.
Directly, Silvina brought my health and wellness to the next level.
I use her training and methodology regularly and meditate daily as a result. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking to activate positive results.
