Spilove Psychotherapy
Trauma Healing, Addiction Recovery, Eating Disorder Treatment, and LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Therapy in Philadelphia & the Main Line. You try to control what life circumstances you have been through with food, substances or other behaviors, but you have been left with only more anxiety and depression. Your past still follows you around in your relationships and you can't seem to shake the feeling that it won't ever get better.

We help individuals on the Philadelphia Main Line and virtually of all races, genders and sexualities come to understand their past, learn healthier ways of coping and no longer be defined by their depression and anxiety. We give back to our community by making therapy available to people needing financial assistance.

These values define who we are and how we commit to show up as a practice, in the therapy space and in our individual lives. We celebrate the queer community, the black community, the Latinx community, the indigenous community & all communities of color, all genders, all bodies, and neurodiversities.
Have you been struggling in your marriage? Do you feel stuck but know you need to make a change? You're unhappy, but you're not sure where you need to start and you're looking for a place you can receive support for your anxiety and loneliness. If you don't start talking about what's going on soon, you'll continue to live this life that feels unfulfilling and never reach your full potential.
Amber holds a wealth of experience in the helping fields and is a uniquely talented artist. Amber began her career as a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician in California. You find yourself feeling disconnected to your body and maybe even your soul too. You've lost connection to pleasure, to creativity and to trust. You notice parts of yourself that keep getting in the way of living the life of depth you desire. You know that you actually feel very deeply, and sometimes it feels overwhelming, so you use restricting, body obsession or binging and purging to numb out and protect yourself.
Do you feel that life changes are impacting you or your relationships? Are you looking to understand facets of your identity and how they show up in your life? Do you feel that your emotional experience feels uncomfortably linked to those around you? I am here to create the conditions that make it possible to explore these feelings.

Gwenn is warm and easy to open up to. When speaking to her about problems, she is quick to recall past threads of conversation or call attention to recurring themes. In this way, she supports you in co-creating a deeper self-understanding. Her ability to hold different piece of information about past events and emotions lets you know that she is actively listening, excited to apply her lived experience, past client experience, and theory knowledge to the goals you’re working on. It is easy to feel therapeutically connected to Gwenn because she is so present, and has such a curious mind.

Tiffany is a dear colleague. We have worked together in the past few years on multiple client cases, client groups, professional training, and business development. Tiffany's client have deep respect for her and find her easy to talk to - she meets them where they are at. She is a skilled trauma therapist, EMDR clinician, and Eating Disorder Therapist. I've recommended Tiffany to my own friends and family members!

This practice is awesome. They have several locations including a really convenient spot in center city. I’ve worked with Melanie Taylor- she has a lot of experience in treating eating disorders among other things, she can incorporate yoga practices into her treatment plan if you like, and she’s overall a really compassionate person/therapist. I’d highly recommend requesting her :)

Tiffany Spilove is a top-notch clinician, with whom I had the pleasure of undergoing intensive EMDR training. She is wise, warm, and committed to bringing the best care to her clients-- and it shows in the way she continuously builds on her excellent skill set and informs others of the work she's doing via social media and other publications. I highly recommend her services!
