It's nice to have a local bike shop again!
Now that it's winter, I'm setting my bike up with a trainer in my basement so that I don't have to buy a peloton, and I can still ride when it's cold. These guys got me all set up with a trainer tire, and some new cleats for my new bike shoes. It was quick and easy- they asked me a few questions, found me what I needed, and I was on my way!
Customer service was excellent. I'm happy that this place is so close to home. I will be coming back here for any future bike needs. Highly recommend.

Awesome, no-pressure environment. The representative we spoke with answered all of our questions without trying to push us in any particular direction. After learning a bit more about what we were looking for, he gave us a few options from which we were able to choose a bike that fit our needs perfectly. Loved the whole experience. Highly recommend.

I have had the pleasure of purchasing 3 bikes from D&D in the last month or so and the staff has been incredible. One of the bikes we purchased had some sort of manufacturing defect and D&D took it back and let me choose a different bike with no questions asked, which during the current bike shortage was even more amazing. They have loads of replacement parts, grips, pedals and supplies needed to maintain the bike. D&D has earned a lifelong customer.

Recently purchased Giant Explorer e bike from D&D bicycles Waterford location. Spoke with Christoper on the phone and he took the time to answer all our questions patiently and thoroughly. Drove three hours from Ohio to check out the bike. Upon arrival, Christopher was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time explaining the functions of the bike to us, allowing us to test ride the bike and take our time picking out accessories. Would highly recommend this bike shop to anyone for their friendliness and excellent customer service.

Jordan was amazing: he answered the phone right away when I called and when I asked if he could replace a tube—for a ride tomorrow—he said, “Sure, bring it in, I can help you!” When I arrived he provided excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and patient customer service—-30 minutes before closing time. I purchased the perfect bike today with the assistance of Tristan & Derrick- the guys helped me find just what I was looking for, made sure I was comfortably seated, and thoroughly explained the “New Bike Gold Card” that was complimentary with my purchase. I feel good knowing I have the first three years with my new ride covered with D&D’s protection. Tristan was nice enough to help me get my bike into my Jeep cargo in the rain! Terrible customer service. Here’s my story. Last week I ordered a bike online that said was IN STOCK at the Ann Arbor location. I paid for it and arranged for it transferred to the Waterford location for pick up. I received the confirmation email and it stated that the bike would be ready for pick up five days later on 6/28.
Fast forward to the pick up day (today) it’s about 2 hours from the time the store closes and no word that my bike is ready. Just to get an idea of what’s going on I give them a call. I give them my name and they tell me that they don’t have the bike. I asked what

I had searched for bicycles shops in the White lake/Waterford area and D&D came up, but their website said they only service their own bikes sold there and had a 1-2 week back up. So we went to another shop on Elizabeth Lake road. They said they had a 1 month back up and did not inquire at all what I needed to have done. So I stopped at D&D on my way home to check and they were so helpful and friendly that I was blown away. Not only did they say they could do maintenance on my bike, but they could do it right then and there! So impressed and would use/buy cycle gear, bikes or helmets from them

Great bike store with the BEST prices in town, they even beat the online store prices!! The staff is super helpful and friendly. I've bought bikes and had them serviced here for years. Their selection of bikes is first rate as well as their selection of clothing and accessories. They also give you free adjustments on bikes you buy from them for 3 years. Don't buy a bike from anywhere else without checking them out as well. It's nice to support a brick and mortar store that competes, and beats, the others!!

Having ridden the same bikes for 20 years, a friend referred us to D & D Bicycles. Knowing the bikes we wanted, Ray answered all of our questions and then some. We ordered our bikes. When I took delivery of mine, Jeff took the time to go over my new bike and he made sure I knew how to make the adjustments that I might need. When my wife's bike came in, Devin did the exact same thing. I highly recommend the guys at D & D Bicycles for your next purchase.

Took my bike in to have a little work done on it. The bike is nothing special...just an aluminum Diamondback from a big box store, in good condition overall. The guy at the repair counter looks at it and says, "I hope someone gave this to you and you didn't spend any money on it. What you got here is a Buick, and I sell Maseratis." That was all I needed to hear from him. Put my bike back on my car rack and drove it 8 miles to another shop, where they were very professional and helpful.

When my bike's front tire went flat just before I wanted to go for a ride, I was in search of a place who could fix my bike quickly and cheaply. I came to D & D and was not disappointed. The service men were great! They fixed my bike in 15 minutes and it didn't break the bank. They also offered advice on bike racks and bike maintenance.
They have a huge supply of bikes, helmets, and other bike accessories, but they are a little pricey. Stop in and see for yourself!

Hmm, I bought a Giant Seek 3 there last week and both of the guys there were very friendly and accommodating. So far, my experience has been very positive which made me all the more surprised to see all of these negative reviews.
I'm going back because my bike was supposed to come with a bell but it didn't. I'll see if they are as friendly after the sale as they were leading up to it.

Bought some bar tape a couple months ago, and had to wait kind of long till somebody could help me. They gave me 10% off which was nice, but still, they seem really understaffed...
Now, I was in a bike-on-bike collision about a month back but was able to ride away from the accident just fine. A few weeks later, I noticed my bike was riding strangely, so I decided to take it into D&D since they were kind of close to my house.
The guy who originally took care of me in the service department seemed very friendly and knowledgeable
