We are a Family and Cosmetic Dental Practice serving Rockport, Fulton, Ingleside, Portland and Port Aransas, since 1990. Dr. Schultz moved his practice from Houston to Rockport in the year 2000. He loves Rockport and the practice he has built here. Dr. Schultz brings cutting edge dentistry to Rockport and cares for smiles of all ages, from preventative to full restorative.
Our all ceramic crowns are now fabricated from zirconia, one of the most esthetic and clinically proven all-ceramic restorations available today. Zirconia restorations offer excellent long-term stability with no allergenic potential. Porcelain crowns are used to correct large defects or fractures in the natural teeth, they are also used as Implant Abutment Restorations.
To determine if implants are right for you, a consultation with your dentist, oral surgeon, and/or periodontist or prosthodontist is needed. During this appointment, your dental professional will thoroughly examine your teeth and gums and evaluate bone density and quantity.
This may involve X-rays and computer tomography scans (CT scans) to ensure there is sufficient bone structure for placing the implant(s), and to determine exactly where the implant should be placed.Based on the condition of your oral tissues, oral hygiene and personal habits, and commitment to follow aftercare instructions, your dentist will advise you of the most appropriate dental implant treatment plan.
