Many factors (emotional and physical) lead humans to varied states of distress. We collect events that cloud our minds with assumptions and false expectations that we believe as truth. Sometimes we have been exposed to faulty or flawed information that is not helpful for emotional and physical health. I am excited to be in a position where I can assist community members to assess and address thoughts and history. We can create change even when it's difficult. Usually, we just need motivation and a helping hand.
Services
During my early career, I was fortunate enough to be able to work with local agencies serving marginalized populations. The goals were to support client safety and encourage general health and wellness. I continue to work from this model while collaborating on therapeutic goals with my outpatient clients.
Co-pays and payment for out-of-pocket sessions are due at the beginning of sessions. You may opt to have co-pays and out-of-pocket session fees auto-deducted from a card you keep on file through your client portal. If you have a deductible to be met, I will first bill your insurance, and I will then bill you the remaining balance.
Your first appointment will involve a formal evaluation so that I may get the information I need in order to best help you. This will take 55 minutes, and intake paperwork is required to be complete 24 hours prior to the appointment, or your appointment will be cancelled. Length of appointments thereafter will be 45 minutes.

I saw her for about a year for my severe anxiety and she was absolutely amazing, I would still be seeing her if I hadn’t moved states. She goes above and beyond for her clients and is so personable. I always left her office feeling like I could finally breathe and even a smile on my face. Now it’s been a couple years since moving away and I told my husband last night that I would move back to Oregon just to have her as my counselor again. My anxiety is back worse than ever and I’m scared I won’t find anyone as great as her to dig me out of this hole like she did.

Doesn’t understand how mental illness works AT ALL. Social anxiety is a thing, you know. I couldn’t make my appointment because I have social anxiety and never once did she call or text to ask if I was okay, it was just about rules. Then I send a message asking for another chance and explaining my fears of recovery and feeling afraid I won’t be liked or heard, and she confirms my fear by telling me she already talked to my insurance agent and basically doesn’t want to work with me. I understand appointments and whatnot, but it’s different when you’re mentally ill. When you are mentally
