Harris Environmental Systems, Inc. has been in business since 1939 when we started operation as a refrigeration service contractor. In 1962 we became incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We have concentrated on environmental room design and construction and have installed over 1,000 environmental rooms in the last five years.
All Harris field service technicians have gone through extensive technical training for refrigeration, electrical and controls systems. The Harris service department has two inside service managers to help with any service problems that may arise. Our technicians are computer dispatched. All field service personnel have radios and cell phones for better communication with the service department.
Harris dry rooms provide advanced design features to achieve low dewpoint control for your moisture sensitive material processing. Our dry room experience dates back to providing lithium battery dry rooms and pharmaceutical dry rooms for hygroscopic materials since 1976 with over 100 dry rooms built worldwide.
Turnkey clean rooms provided by Harris Environmental Systems represents the most customized application we provide. Due to the very nature of each facility size, cleanliness needs, mechanical systems, and logistical issues, it is necessary for us to look at virtually every clean room possibility to come up with the most cost effective solution.
Photographic film, paper records, and books that must be permanently preserved because of historical or commercial value require critical control of those elements which can result in physical or chemical degradation over time.
By maintaining stable levels of temperature, humidity, and eliminating oxidants caused from material off-gasing, the Harris archival storage vault will insure that materials are properly maintained and preserved for an indefinite time period.
