The genesis of Siren Marine stemmed from CEO and Founder Captain Daniel Harper's realization that most of the significant problems that occur on boats start small and continue to manifest when left unattended.Harper's solution was to develop a cellular-based device that would be connected to the boat's bilge and battery, and would "text" him on-shore if a critical event occurred.

Love this service! Takes half the stress out of boat ownership, and makes it waaaay more efficient to troubleshoot any issues BEFORE we're aboard. Especially appreciate that when we're taking out guests or kids, and it means we get to spend more time having FUN on the boat and waste less time solving problems we weren't expecting. Service was B+ for the first 6 months but over the last few months we have had a horrible time turning on and off the service from a cell phone when in full internet coverage in downtown Fort Lauderdale. They stopped responding to service requests and have reported problems in this area but no response to my requests. I have the service on 2 boats and both are having the same problems. I probably will not be renewing for a 3rd year . They have new hardware so i assume the original products are not working like they expected but I have no idea if this is the problem so no clue if the new hardware

So far for customer service I've had to leave messages . Still no call back...
High water sensors result in false alarms and they're not adjustable. They send alerts when there's no water in the bilge and when cleaning the boat. I'm getting an alert now - the bilge is empty. They will be replaced with traditional float switches. T
Multiple alerts about the boat "Entering the Geofence zone". This is when the boat is sitting on the lift not moving at all.
Satellite tracking antenna needs a clear shot to the sky - cannot be hidden. Some security that provides - will be simple to defeat.

I have setup a pretty elaborate system that's mostly wireless and is also integrated into NMEA 200 network. While the software isn't perfect (which software is), the system ultimately works and works exceptionally well. Support has been there for me through the whole process and I have a working monitoring system as a result. It's certainly refreshing to find a company that cares about their product and actually care that it works in a way the customer wants to use it.

Unit green light is a steady green and the amber light stays flashing constantly and will not find or track its location. Multiple calls to support with little to no help. We have done everything including a hard reset on the device and still nothing.

Love the app and the concept but with my wired security sensor beam sending false alarms during storms it's not worth much to me. If Siren is not able to find a solution I will have the unit removed.
