AB Marine installed the Autoprop in the water, in 1996, on my new Morningstar [Sceptre 43]. It has been trouble free and has performed extremely well ever since the installation. As a long term racer this was my first cruising boat and after looking at what was available in props the Autoprop made the most sense. The reduced drag, self adjusting pitch, power performance,and performance in reverse were all factors I was looking for, to find them all in one prop was a surprise and made the decision an easy one. I would make the same decision today.
