Services
I am a psychotherapist and a holistically trained integrative nutrition and health coach. I specialize in a holistic approach to emotional health that seeks to heal the whole person - mind, body and spirit. In addition to psychotherapy, I offer neurofeedback training and counseling on nutrition, sleep, exercise, meditation and the impact of environmental factors on emotional health and well-being.
I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues, providing services that span from therapy for depression and grief counseling to parenting support, couples counseling and beyond. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my client's individual needs to help facilitate healing and growth.
Simply put, neurofeedback is a treatment intervention that helps train the brain to self regulate in healthier ways. When there is dysregulated brain wave functioning, people may experience lack of concentration/ focus, impulsivity, inflexibility, mood swings, anxiety, depression, defiance, sleep disturbances, and various other symptoms.
Are you tired of repeating yourself for the 14th time? Constantly asking your daughter to clean her room or nagging your son to take out the trash. No matter how many times you remind, ask, or tell, your child doesn't seem to respond until you raise your voice furiously and fly off the handle. Are you feeling defeated by constant phone calls or emails from your child's teacher or principal?
Do you worry about work constantly when you're at home, or feel anxious and tense even about small events? Is your mind riddled with a powerless sense of imminent danger, a place where rising panic can be difficult to quell? These signs and symptoms are common in those suffering from a medical condition called anxiety disorder.
