I met John back in 2017. During this time, I was in my last year college. With no job opportunities/offers, I knew I only had a few choices left. I decided that I wanted to apply to grad school but first needed to take the GRE. After extensive research, I came across John's profile.
Before we began, John told me to buy a GRE book and bring it with me to the first session. When I arrived, he immediately sat me down and started flipping through the first few pages of the book, telling me what to expect on the exam.

Don't trust this man. He said he went to Caltech and MIT and taught, as a professor, at CalTech. There is no record of him online of doing any of those things.
I should've known when he said "I'm super cool, I'm super chill, I'm super cool, super laid back". Anyone who says that... isn't.
He was manic and un-showered and smelled and was absolutely insane. It doesn't seem that hard to wash your hands before you go and teach someone. His hair looked like he dipped his head in oil and his hands had never been washed in his life.
He told me to google

The searching is over. John is the best teacher any parents can hope for a math tutor. John's unique way of teaching not only helps students develop a love for math but also build a solid math foundation. John understands and cares for his students. And he knows how to teach his students according to how each individual learns. We can't THANK him enough to help both of my kids. My older one graduated this year (2019) from engineering school and landed a six figures job (not bad for 22 years). I have known John for many years. I can honestly say he is one of the most intelligent people I have ever met. It's rare for someone to be talented at both math and poetry, but he is. He has a genetic gift and executes it to great effect. I have seen him in action and wish I had had him as a tutor when I was studying math in school! It would have saved me a great deal of anguish.
My daughter is 8 years old and if she ever needs help, he is the first person I would call. Let's hope she didn't inherit my skills (or lack thereof) at mathematics! Highly recommend!

Mr Lindgren is a brilliant and inspired instructor. He tutored my daughters in both mathematics, English Literature and their Standardized exams. We'd tried a few agencies and were disappointed with the results. With Mr Lindgren's guidance my daughters graduated with 4.0 GPA's, Got 5's on the AP Calculus exams, and scored 99th percentile on their SATs. I recommend his services to anyone looking for help at the high school or college level.
