My Mom moved into Orchard Park two months ago. She became a part of a loving community. Unfortunately, my Mom's illness took her from us last week. My Mom was lovingly cared for by the staff and I was supported by the staff as well. I will truly miss my visits to Orchard Park. If you're looking for a community for someone, Orchard Park is a wonderful home.

Orchard Park has exceeded my expectations and more! When my dad's health declined last year, I knew I couldn't provide the care my dad needed at home. As a practicing Nurse Practitioner, I did not take this decision lightly. I spent time researching communities that I felt would meet his medical needs and offer amenities and a lifestyle he was accustom too. I have worked at Orchard Park of Kyle for a little over four months, and I am still blown away by something every single day. I have never worked for a management team that helps each other and builds each other up like this one. Our staff sees that and responds in kind, too. The best example of this was during the winter storm. We had several staff members and most of our management team stay here 24 hours a day for the entire week to ensure our residents were taken care of and safe. We faced many challenges that week, as did the entire state, and we worked endlessly to keep our residents at ease

I was very happy with my visits to Orchard Park. It is a beautiful community, it’s well maintained. I met so many residents who were happy and outgoing. They told me how nice the employees are and how much they love living there. Nothing better than hearing what it’s like to live in an assisted living straight from the seniors who live there. Deanna and Glen were warm, caring and helpful. They spent a lot of time with me to understand what I was looking for. They introduced me to employees and I was really impressed. I’m sold!

As a former employee of Orchard Park, I can said that this was one of the best establishments I have worked at during my career as a cook. The kitchen was immaculate and the staff surrounding me was very hard working and driven. I would recommend this job to any cook, and also highly recommend the facility to any person in need of assisted living. The menu was fun and seasonally driven. When a resident had a birthday or anniversary the kitchen would always make them feel special. And, if you are a person like me, that makes me happy too. My mom is really independent, but when she was to be recovering from surgery, we knew she would need more care than I could provide at home. I reached out to Orchard Park to learn more about their Respite Care. They were exactly what we needed. The staff were very caring and friendly, and Deanna answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. She walked me through the process for a seamless transition. When the time comes that mom needs assisted living full time, I'm moving her to Orchard Park of Kyle. It's nice knowing they care about my mom as much as I do!

Why I would recommend this loving community to anyone and everyone who has a love one that needs some help. I may not have any family members that are here yet but I’ve been working here for over a year and love it. All the residents I am close to and get to know them on a personal level way more than my grandparents. From moment one of entering this facility to discuss options for a lady/friend for whom I had been a caregiver, I was impressed. The staff at the front followed all current COVID-19 protocol, which assured us that safety was of utmost importance. We were greeted warmly and given as much time as was needed to make our decision. We were given a thorough tour of the facility that did not feel like the other assisted living facilities we had toured. It felt like home. I was the business office manager from 2016 to 2020. I worked through two management companies and four executive directors. If you're looking for somewhere to leave your family member, OPK is a pretty good facility. From everything I've experienced, they have a reasonable rate, and the community doesn't cut corners in providing quality care. If on the other hand, you're looking for employment with the latest management company running the building, Northstar Senior Living, I would look elsewhere. The very first action Northstar took once they seized power was to gut health
