At Bois D'Arc Assisted Living, we want you to feel at home. Each of the 16 suites have a sitting room, bedroom and walk-in closet. They also each have a spacious, private bathroom featuring large, walk-in showers with safety rails. Our suites are designed with the comfort of our residents in mind. Residents may personally furnish their own 400 square foot suite.

With treasured mementos and favorite furniture, a resident's suite becomes "home". Cable, wireless internet capability, housekeeping and valet laundry is provided to each individual resident. Two large social gathering areas, a smaller private sitting room, a spacious deck and front sitting porch all provide plenty of community areas for socializing amongst residents and with visitors.
Services
Situated in a neighborhood setting, Bois D'Arc has a long history, having been originally built as a private home in 1928. In 2007, the residence was converted to a 16-suite assisted living facility with an additional living area by extending the original structure and adding two wings in the back.
I'm very gratefull to be a staff member at 1017 Bois D'Arc. I enjoy working with my co-workers and consider them as my family and consider the residents my family too! I have been here 6 years and I love working here! I love working at Bois D'Arc! When you walk through the front door, you can feel the love of the staff and the residents.
2 Room ADA compliant Suite: Full bathroom with walk-in Shower, large walk-in Closet; Refrigerator, Microwave, and Cable TV for one outlet (Living or Bedroom) and wireless internet capability. Medication Assistance: We closely monitor all medications, as well as confer and coordinate with physicians and outside Home healthcare givers or hospice.
Brad Laughlin and Hal Davis have all been involved in senior living, both personally and professionally. They have held and continue to be active in ownership roles other facilities in the state. But more importantly, they both have had parents living in assisted living and memory care at one point or another.
Let's answer that question up front. Bois D'Arc's fee is below the area's average and runs approximately $3,200 per month. By personally visiting our facility, interacting with staff and residents, and speaking to family members of past and present residents, it will help guide your decision on the value (cost) of the excellent care your loved one will receive.

Bois D’Arc is such a loving place for my mom. Mon truly loves the staff and the facility. We love the intimacy and quietness of a smaller retirement home. The apartments are clean and spacious. The staff is very one on one and truly loves my mom. Mom loves the food and they even keep her favorite ice cream in the kitchen. We enjoy the many family days celebrating the holidays, when Carol throws a big lunch for everyone. I would recommend Bois D’Arc to anyone. What a great place in a great little Texas town.

The people at TXARR are amazing. They are so patient and sweet. The home is beautiful. The food is tasty and well presented. The grounds are always kept. I can really say that it seams they do every thing possible to go above and beyond to meet the seniors who live here needs. They are all inclusive, so a flat fee covers everything. I can't say enough about this place. It has been a huge help and peace of mind for not only our loved one but for us to know that 24/7 someone is available and providing such great care. I would absolutely recommend this place. They are privately owned and just such
