Sandy Key Condominiums is located on the barrier island of Perdido Key, Florida, away from traffic, in a quiet and secluded area adjacent to the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Sandy Key offers fantastic amenities for your enjoyment: 2 swimming pools (one heated in the winter), hot tub, lighted tennis courts, fitness center, outdoor grilling areas, trash chute on each floor, and two elevators in every building.
A gated community, we have 800 feet of beach front, lushly landscaped grounds, pristine white sugar-sand beaches, beautiful beach dunes, and emerald green waters. Who knows, you may be lucky enough to spot dolphins frolicking in the surf (we have several families) or a Navy Blue Angel fly by (they traditionally fly practice performances along the coast most weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, March through November).

Do not stay here. We got there in the evening and when we got to the unit our condo door was OPEN and there was a key left in the door. I was there with my children and was extremely disconcerted and did not feel safe to enter. The after hours person Christina who answered the emergency line was rude and made me feel like I was being ridiculous like I was mad about a toaster or something.

Unit 315 at Sandy Key Condo's did not live up to it's photo's. It looked tired. The outdoor furniture was rusted and the table was very chipped. The kitchen cabinets are starting to peel, the coffee maker was falling apart, starting to look dated. The beds are old, no comforters on the beds so you could see the box springs had their liners hanging down. Poorly lit in bathrooms and bedrooms. We had to find the wi-fi router and install it. TV's are small. Coffee table worn. Second pool closed, hot tub closed and second walkway to beach gone. Keys did not work well in the lock

First I want to say that my review is primarily related to the unit we rented. Sandy Key was nice and the white sandy beach was absolutely beautiful!
We stayed in building 1, unit 418. Upon arriving to the condo, I thought the unit was nice. It wasn't fancy, it appeared to be clean. My wife and I brought our daughters and planned to cook breakfast and a few dinners at the condo. The condo was advertised to sleep 8. I say this because there were exactly 8 plates, 5 bowls, etc. We were surprised by the lack of dishes. A few days later, my brother in law showed up. They were in building 2,

The beach has fluffy white sand and easy access. I love the family oriented atmosphere. Our condo was nice, clean, comfortable with big rooms. The balconies are huge and face the gulf, very nice. The grounds are kept nice and the pool is perfect when you would rather not adventure out to the beach. Close to convenient stores and many restaurants.

After 5 years of enjoying this condo, my family of 6 rental units will never be back after witnessing a personal vendetta by a Sandy Key employee against several customers, including one of our own. She harassed, falsely accused people of attacking her to have people evicted. We were not evicted, but witnessed the total lack of common sense by Sandy Key personnel, beach, maintence & front office, & abuse of power. We will never return and hope you think twice before renting a unit at Sandy Key. They have ruined our vacation!
Now looking for a new vacation condo.

This is a great family place, we've been coming semiregularly since 1993. The condos (mostly 2 BR, some 3 BR) are overall clean, nothing is broken, everything is there. If something is not as it should be, the staff is quick to fix it. There are three buildings with "only" 8 floors each (all ocean facing from the vey large balcony). Many other places nearby are dozens of floors, which leads to a crowded beach. Here there is usually a lot of room to spread out. On the beach, you can rent a recliner (with pad) and umbrella from a third party business (with young worker on the
