We stayed at 14383 Cordgrass in Lost Key. While we did enjoy our stay, we would like to offer some suggestions, generally and for the house itself:
First, we were not sent a welcome letter or instructions to check until I inquired the day before and never received a time to check in. We were told we could check in after hours (after 6pm) if necessary and our packet would be left outside for us if we arrived after 6. We arrived at 3:15pm and signed our paperwork and were told the house wasn't ready and the stovetop was broken, which was ok, but would have been nice if they did not make us return

I am rating Perdido Key Resort Management a 1 due to wormlike bugs in our beautiful house that we rented on May 20, 2021. My family and I stayed in Arborgate Oasis but our wonderful vacation was cut short when these wormlike bugs invaded our 3 story rental around 9:30pm on our 4 th night there. Therefore we were forced to leave that night because the bugs were coming from the vents and dropping in our kids beds and in the restrooms. There were too many bugs to count we took pictures and called management the night the bugs came but unfortunately they said “Those Bugs are normal in May, there

These people will truly show you what its like to experience southern hospitality. They are laid back and relaxed. But I loved how helpful they were. Rent a place to stay and also get free activities included in an app that made our trip effortless. We were placed at the Purple Parrot which was a great group of houses 1/4 mile from the beach.

We stayed at Purple Parrot Resort summer before last, and walked to the beach once or twice. We drove a couple of other times because we wanted to go further east on the beach. It's in a great location because it is out of "condo row". You can't walk out your back door onto the beach, but there is much more privacy, with 1 minute access to the beach by car. Having a real house instead of an apartment was incredible, and the pool was a highlight of the trip for the kids. My review is not a recent one - I was there in 2007 - but I still think of it often and hope to return soon, now that I'm no longer a full-time (slightly older adult) college student.
I still think of how helpful & friendly the front desk staff was at our condo building, how everything was just as nice as the pictures (what a relief), and how uncrowded the beaches were for July, but most of the action was just a few minutes away. The Perdido Key location couldn't be better! It was the perfect vacation, and I still remember the sunsets and sitting on the balcony of the condo early in the morning

We absolutely loved the Purple Parrot resort! It was my daughter's first experience at the ocean so it was nice to be able to go hang out for a bit and come back to the amazing pool area. We all enjoyed the hot tub, bar, televisions and very spacious swimming pool. Our condo was well equipped and beautifully decorated. It was a close drive to the grocery store, shopping and bars/restaurants. We will definitely be back!!!

I absolutely love Perdido Key. It is close enough to be in the middle of all the excitement of Pensacola or Orange Beach, yet it is quiet and relaxed. I love the walks on the beach in the morning. My idea of a beach vacation is relaxing, quiet and just enjoying the beach. Perdido Key is Perfect. The last time we were in Perdido we discovered The Point. The Royal Reds were amazing. We also drove over to Foley to the Gator Farm (my youngest loves gators) It is really nice to come to Perdido Key to relax yet be close enough to all the attractions of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Pensacola. We have visited Pensacola often, but stayed in Perdido Key for the first time in September 2013. Johnson Beach is the most beautiful beach on the gulf! It is conveniently located to everything we need, which made our stay even more relaxing. So much nicer than many of the other beaches nearby.... so please, let's keep it our secret! :) We are returning this spring and plan to make Perdido Key our destination!

To say we "love" Perdido Key would be a complete understatement! We have vacationed on the Key the last five spring breaks. We almost feel like experts! We have tried to bring our sons and their wives on our trips as well. Perdido Key has become a favorite to them now too!

Our last three trips (2 last year) to the Gulf Coast have been to Perdido Key and the Purple Parrot. We loved it so much that we brought our daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons on the last trip and rented a 3 bedroom house. It was amazing and a great time was had by all. We love the pool (most amazing one on the island) and the National Seashore is absolutely beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The restaurants are great and there is always something to do whether it is relax by the pool or on the great front porch or something more adventurous. The Tiki Bar had great food, people and music, all right
