Watch an online webinar and get a first glimpse into the landscape of sustainable packaging in the fashion industry. TIPA's compostable packaging mimics the positive qualities of conventional plastic (such as durability, barrier properties, shelf stability) with one difference - it is fully compostable!

TIPA's compostable packaging offers certified food-grade packaging for fresh produce, dry food, baked goods, chilled products, and frozen food. TIPA's compostable packaging accommodates a diverse range of applications for retailers and brand owners, including an alternative to conventional resealable bags for apparel, garment bags for accessories and more.
Services
At TIPA, we create packaging that behaves just like organic waste, so nature won't even notice we're here. TIPA was founded in 2010 by Daphna Nissenbaum and Tal Neuman to address the challenge that flexible plastic packaging poses to the Environment with no toxic residue, microplastics, or other pollutants.
Blue Horizon Ventures is a food technology-focused venture capital fund founded in 2018 by serial entrepreneurs and investors Roger Lienhard and Michael Kleindl. The fund aims to support the movement towards a more sustainable food system through innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. The underlying mission of the fund is to support and promote a positive global impact on the environment, human health, and animal welfare.
Natoora's Radically Seasonal Fruit and Vegetables are Now Available in Plastic-Free pre-packs. We needed a packaging that had to be light and protective of our garments but at the same time it needed to be transparent, so that the product could be seen from the outside. We were searching for something eco-friendly, we never thought about compostable but when we met with TIPA and they presented their products to us, we loved the idea immediately.
Our compostable films and laminates emulate the properties and functionality of conventional plastic materials such as Polyethylene and Polypropylene. TIPA's patent-protected formulae are made from a blend of fully compostable polymers, and are what give TIPA films and laminates similar properties to conventional plastic.
Go compostable with TIPA's portfolio of single-ply films and multi-ply laminates, available as reels of film or made-to-order customized packaging applications for the food and fashion industries. TIPA's films and laminates are certified fully home and/or industrially compostable and break down in compost environments into water, CO2 and biomass, within 180 days just like any other organic matter.
