Barrera's Draperies Plus, a family-owned and operated workroom had its humble beginning in the living room of the Barrera family in 1979. The Founder and Principal, Lucy Barrera, had learned how to sew since she was a child, taught by her mother and, years later, by her mother-in-law (a skilled seamstress who loved to sew everything from clothing to draperies).
