Houston Upholstery was established in 1990 by a husband and wife team, Jane and Dan Dang. They opened a retail furniture store which developed into a full scale quality manufacturing furniture and reupholstery business with the help of their two daughters, Marie Dang and Nancy Dang. Mrs. Dang, Marie and Nancy are still working and aim to specialize in reupholstering antiques/ vintage furniture and building quality Made in the USA products.
They owe their success to their loyal customers and skilled employees from carpenters, seamstress, upholsterers and sales staff. A renovated building has been turned into a modern design center with great fabric selection and in-house interior design service. All foams and filling materials will soften and conform to the shape of the users; this is considered normal use and is not a defect.

Services
Our skilled delivery team inspects and prepares each item before carefully assembling and placing it in your home. Delivery personnel will not disassemble/assemble any electrical devices and are not responsible for any other personal items that need to be moved from location to another. It is highly suggested to move personnel items before the scheduled delivery date and time.

They completed repairs on 4 pieces for me and returned them to new condition, they look amazing! Additionally, because of supply chain issues, it didn’t look like I could get covering I needed for my chairs. Using their extensive resources, they found the material I needed, at a lower price and delivered the job ahead of schedule. Thanks y’all!

Marie did a wonderful job reupholstering our oversized ottoman! She was extremely prompt in responding to emails and made the process very easy for us. The quality is excellent, and the price was reasonable for the work. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Sitting home during a pandemic makes you realize the need for changes in the sofa cushions! Marie Dang at Houston Upholstery & Interior Design came to my rescue. The cushions are now firm, a delight to sit on, and my husband says I look taller! Marie took the time to book an appointment for drop-off and pick-up, ensured that the correct gauge of foam was used, and delivered a fabulous product on time. I could not be happier about my choice. Marie has been a huge pleasure to work with - and, she's a fellow UH Cougar! What could be better. Go Coogs!

I had an accent chair that my cat had scratched over a few year and almost had torn it up. Marie did a great job changing the fabric and my chair now looks like a brand new one! she is very professional, very responsive to emails/call and she uses great products as well. Highly recommended!

Marie has been wonderful to work with! Very responsive, with great suggestions, and she sent us progress updates as our dining room chairs were updated! We had a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner with our newly… reupholstered antique chairs, and we can't wait to hang our new curtains and see the dining room come together. We have used this company for many years they are great! They deliver on time every time and that is extraordinary. In addition, their customer service skills are impeccable, they answer questions expediently, the quality of the product is amazing, and I've never had a problem.
