The mission of my practice is to assist people to manage their lives successfully and reach their potential. The process involves active participation of the patient's support system. I provide a comprehensive evaluation of psychiatric illness and treatment plans using a multi-modal approach with medication management, individual psychotherapy, and family therapy.
My practice is holistic by creating a comprehensive care treatment plan around the person's needs and wants. As a native Texan from San Antonio, my inspiration is my late father, Robert Leon MD, who was the founding Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Services
Psychotherapy as well as medication management is provided. To determine whether or not medication treatment is indicated, I conduct comprehensive assessments of target symptoms. With these assessments, I give detailed information on the benefits and risks of medication. An individual or a child, and his or her parents, can determine whether or not medication is an option they wish to pursue.
First and foremost, I learn about my patients and their situation by a phone conversation. I look forward to getting to know you or your loved ones. Conveniently situated in Central Austin, the Carillon is a historic building with easy access to MoPac. The Carillon is located at the southwest corner of Westover and Exposition, and has ample surface lot parking.

Dr. Stacy Leon, Psychiatrist, is professional and approachable. She is a psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience who really gets and understands children and adolescents. She does a comprehensive evaluation and works on a whole-child treatment, also communicating with teachers, other doctors and family members. She is not pushy about medications but also open when deemed necessary. I highly recommend her.
