Recently I was at a funeral at Vaia Funeral Home in Delmont. I couldn't believe the treatment that the funeral director gave to my family. I walked into the building and the director was sitting in the office while his secretary was working.
He YELLS out from the office "Can I help you? Never gets up off the chair nor tells me what direction to find my family. I found my relatives. They were upset of course of the passing of their wife/mother. The director came into the viewing room to give my cousin a bill. What timing!!
The viewing started at 10 am. The director comes in at 10:40 to ask my

My experience was atrocious. A close friend made his arrangements in person over a year before his death. He paid for several days of viewing, transport to church, and a graveside service. His estranged children had everything changed. He was a strong catholic that believed that his soul would be affected by how his funeral and burial were handled. It should be the responsibility of the director to explain that your family members can disregard your wishes following your death. Apparently there is wording that can be added to ensure no changes are made to the contract which he was not made aware

From the moment I talked to Flash on the phone until the burial of my husband it was a wonderful experience. They went over and beyond helping us thru a difficult time. I will recommend Vaia and Twin Valley to everyone I talk with. Very professional yet very caring people. Thank you Flash and Sue and everyone .
